It's not hard for me to find Cameron. It's kind of common knowledge that Cameron and his two closest friends, Eric and Dan usually hang out in the parking lot near the baseball field. No one really questions why they're always there. They just are.

Cameron sees me approaching him and a smirk forms on his face. "So I see you've changed your mind."

How could he possibly know that? I haven't even started talking yet.

I'm about to reply, but Cameron turns towards Eric and Dan and says, "I'll talk to you both later. I have something to take care of."

Eric and Dan look at us, a suspicious look forming on their faces, but they don't say anything and just nod their heads.

I feel like attractive people are sort of just drawn to each other because Cameron, Eric and Dan are all extremely attractive and in their own way. Eric has the athletic, toned look. He keeps his brown hair messy and wavy, bot not too long, and constantly is wearing a shirt with a sports team logo on it. From what I know about him, he was accepted into USC on a cross-country scholarship, but I'm pretty sure he turned it down. He comes from a very wealthy family so it's not like he needed the financial assistance. Dan has the silent, brooding look going for him; short, crisp brown hair, a solid build, and stunning eyes.

And then there's Cameron. Cameron's physique is a little harder to describe because I feel like I can't capture his entire essence. His light brown hair is constantly messy, as if he's always tugging on it or just never brushing it from waking it. His dark blue eyes always give off a mysterious vibe and make you wonder what kind of things he's seen and what secrets he knows. I swear I have never seen a sharper jaw line in my entire life. Seriously, it's practically drool worthy. Of course he's in perfect physical shape. To be honest, it's hard not to be attracted to Cameron Owens.

But then he opens his mouth and you're brought back to your senses.

Sure, confidence is appealing, but arrogance and just flat out being a douche bag is not.

"So what made you change your mind?" he asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I have my reasons," I reply, keeping it vague. Just because I'm agreeing to date this guy doesn't mean I'm going to start opening up my every thought and feeling to him.

"Ooh being all ambiguous and secretive; I like it" he responds in a flirtatious way.

"Look I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing this for me so I would really appreciate it if we could just discuss the details of this as quickly as possible so we can end this conversation." I don't mean to come off harsh, but I can't help it. He's seriously starting to piss me off and I've had a really crappy day. I know that's not an excuse, but there's only so much a person can take and he was beginning to push my very last nerve.

"Okay, okay feisty pants, clearly it doesn't take much to rile you up" he chuckles, making me glare at him, which only makes him shake his head and chuckle some more. "I don't have many rules just:

1. From this moment on, we are dating and must appear as such in all public places regardless of whether your brother is around. This is to ensure that we seem legit and therefore more convincing.  We have to make this seem as real as possible, meaning we have to spend time together whether it's going on dates, eating lunch together, you know all that gross sappy crap

2. You cannot tell anyone about this. This is our secret; the less people that know, the better."

3. Don't fall in love with me.  While we're going to be convincing people that this is real, I promise you that there is nothing real about our relationship.

"You want to take this a lot more seriously than I thought," I comment when he finishes. I didn't expect him to want to make this be a fulltime thing. "Also, there's no way that I'm going to fall in love with you, don't worry."

"I don't fool around, unless you want too," he says, his cockiness coming back.

"Yeah...no, not gonna happen" I respond dryly.

"Anyways, do we have a deal?" He asks me, his facial expressions becoming more serious.

"I may have already broken one of the rules..." I draw out, mumbling my voice in hopes that he didn't hear me.

"You fell in love with me already? Wow I knew I was good, but I didn't think I was that good."

"I told Hailie about how you asked me to date you when I was buying candy for our movie night" In my defense, he didn't initially tell me I wasn't allowed to tell anyone, therefore, I technically didn't do anything wrong.

He sighs and runs his hands through his hair. "Of course you did. Whatever, I guess it's fine. Just make sure she doesn't tell anyone. So do we have a deal?"

He extends his hand out, waiting to see if I'll shake it. Surprising us both, I find myself reaching out my arm and shaking his hand, causing his smirk to come back on his face.

I can now officially say I'm dating Cameron Owens.

What have I gotten myself into?
