"Wait, so now you are dating him?" Hailie asks as we head to the cafeteria for lunch.

After agreeing to be Cameron's girlfriend, I went back to the dorm, finished my homework and went to bed. It had been a long day and I didn't really want to explain all the details of it to Hailie at that very moment.

I ended up telling her what Adam did in class after we got out of our classes and started to head towards lunch. It was the perfect segway into telling her the news.

"Yeah, I ended up agreeing to Cameron's deal, but you can't tell anyone we're not actually dating. He wants it to seem as real as possible to anyone who knows or interacts with Adam." I then go on to telling her about his requirements to our relationship, if you could even truly call it that.

"Honestly" Hailie comments. "This sounds like the best deal ever! Seriously, how did you get so lucky that you get to date the most attractive guy on campus and piss off your brother at the exact same time?! It's genius!"

Hailie and I walk over to the food line and start piling food on our plate. I'm about to put an apple down on my tray when it gets snatched out of my hands. I turn to see who the culprit is and it happens to be Cameron staring at me with his signature smirk.

"Hey, babe" he says, catching me off guard.

"Hi?," I respond, but it comes out as more of a question. I know I agreed to this, I guess I didn't realize how soon we were starting.

"You and your friend are going to sit with for lunch today, right?" he asks, his eyes hardening a little letting me know that I'm supposed to agree.

"I guess?" I respond, but again, it comes out as more of a question rather than an answer. "Also, her name is Hailie, don't forget it."

"Perfect, I'll walk back with you both." I'm confused. He's acting like a nice human being now? If I knew all it took to see a nice side of Cameron was to date him, I never would have said no.

Hailie and I quickly pay for our food and follow Cameron back to the table where he, Eric and Dan are sitting.

Eric is the first one to speak. "Hi my name is Eric, but you can call me tonight" he says while winking at Hailie and I.

"Please, that's the best you got?" Dan challenges. "How about, you look very familiar. Have we taken a class together because I swear we have chemistry." I can't help but giggle at this one. Corny pick up lines always get me, especially when they're nerdy. "And that's how it's done" Dan proclaims smugly to Eric.

Cameron stares at his two friends and then says, "I'm surrounded by idiots."

Having lunch with Cameron, Eric and Dan isn't as weird as I thought it would be. It's actually kind of nice to be eating with more people for a change. Don't get me wrong, I love eating with Hailie, she's my best friend, it's just nice to do something out of the ordinary for once.

We continue to sit at the table just having a light and fun conversation when Eric nudges Cameron's shoulder and nods his head in a fixed direction. Cameron looks up and his smirk immediately returns to his face. I turn my head in the direction they're looking to see my brother glaring in our direction, more specifically at Cameron and then me. At that very second, Cameron tugs my hand and says, "I'm full. Let's head out."

We gather our things and start to leave the table. Cameron slings his arm around my shoulder and we start to walk towards the exit, which just so happens to be in the direction of Adam. We walk by him and all ignore him as if he's not even there. It's not until we are outside the building that I hear a door slam behind us and see a very angry Adam approaching us.

"What do you think you're doing?" Adam asks furiously to Cameron and I.

"Uh, walking?" Cameron answers vaguely. "Damn, I knew you were stupid, Adam, but at least try to seem intelligent, would ya?"

"I mean what do you think you're doing with my sister?" Adam looks pissed. His face is bright red and his breathing is getting very fast.

"Well, your sister or should I say my girlfriend and I are heading back to the dorms to get some work done and I'm not talking about studying."

It takes all of my power not to drop my jaw at what Cameron said. I really was not expecting that and I don't think Adam was either.

We continue to walk towards the dorms. I quickly turn my head to see Adam standing in the same position with a look of pure anger, shock and horror on his face.

I was a still little unsure of dating Cameron this morning, but now I can most definitely say I am very confident with this decision.
