I'm terrified.
My heart is beating fast
Like a horse running a race.
Thump, ThumpThe light is shining through the window perfectly
It reflects off the glass and falls onto a girl.
A girl with golden hair,
Snow White skin,
And pastel colors lacing around her body.
Her head ducked into a book
Ignoring the harsh reality.
Her eyes scan across the page,
Not glancing up to look
At the mess of a human in front of her.
Me.She looks like she would smell of
Vanilla and lavender,
Maybe like the smell of fresh cut grass,
Or a dainty flower.I smell like
Morning breath and bad days,
I smell like sweat and dirt,
Like salty water and deodorant. She probably feels soft,
Like velvet,
Like rose petals.I feel rough on the edges.
Piercing your fingertips
As you graze over. She looks like her smile
Would bright up the room.
A town.
A country.
A world.
A galaxy.
To the end of the universe and back.
But there is no end of the universe. She seems to have a coffee
Dark and steaming.
She doesn't seem like the kind of girl
To want a dull cup of coffee.
She needs something fresh,
Light, free,
Enlightening to your heart,
Tasting better than good,
Something that brightens your day,
Just like her.She needs a strawberry smoothie
