Slumber overtake me.
Drown me in my mistakes,
As I lie here in my bed,
Unable to breathe.
Rip apart everything I've ever known,
So I could start over again.
At least give me a false reality,
A place filled with indescribable colors,
Smiling faces,
And hidden wonders.
Please, let me live in the moment,
Instead of regretting the past
Or fearing the future.
Let me live in the present,
Instead of living in my mistakes.
Let me rest after all the stress I endure.
My limbs need the chance to lay limply.
Give me something to work for, please.
Give me a name to yearn for,
A name to help me get up in the morning.
A name that can widen my eyes.

She's elegant like royalty.
She likes bubblegum and candy,
Fresh, sweet scents latching onto her clothes.
Her deep brown eyes twinkling like stardust,
Right when the lights capture her.
Her laugh is a smooth melody,
And her smile is brighter than the stars in the galaxy.
I'm almost ashamed of myself
For letting my guard down this quickly.
My wall surrendering to her touch,
The thorns turning into roses.
I can't help my addiction,
I'm stuck to her like glue.
My obsession seems to go on for infinities,
My burning desire increasing.
So, please let me be enclosed by darkness,
The walls inching together,
Trapping me in.
Suffocate me in my thoughts,
So I could travel through my mind.
Let me forget for a brief moment,
As if I had amnesia.
Let me step into my imagination,
Where I can live freely.
Please, slumber take me away from here.
