Phil's POV

It was the next rose ceremony and the boys and i were preparing for our names to be called. As expected i was standing next to Dan, and could feel his nervousness radiating from him. He was trembling slightly, not too much but just enough to show how he was feeling, and looked up at me with a timid grin. This weeks elimination would be a close call, down to about 8 of us now, we were all starting to realise the reality of the game. Louis had left in the middle of the week, because of family issues and couldn't stay. This week would be another double elimination leaving 6 of us left in the house.

I look past Dan to see Alfie, with Caspar next to him. Alfie looked the most worried out of all of us. He had apparently developed a major crush on Zoe and would be absolutely heartbroken if she sent him home. Caspar was talking to Alfie, while Josh, Marcus, Jim and Finn were huddled together mumbling to each other about who they though would go home next. The room was quite tense as we awaited Ellie to enter and prepare us for the cameras and stuff.

When Ellie did arrive, she Told us to stand in our lined formation that we do at the ceremonies and went over the usual things we get ready for, such as cameras and microphones for the show. I turn my attention back to Dan, seeing him zoned out and not paying attention to what Ellie is actually saying. I shuffle closer towards him, not enough to draw attention, but just enough to reach out and slip my fingers through his, holding onto his hand. He snaps out of his thoughts and looks down to our hands, the beams up at me. I give his hand a squeeze, to let him know everything is going to be okay, then Zoe walks in the room.

Zoe gains everyones attention as she walks into the room, looking as gorgeous as ever. Her long hair, in a nice ponytail, as she wears a white and black striped jumpsuit. She walks gracefully over to her podium, thanking Ellie for preparing us as usual and starts to talk when the cameras start rolling. Zoe goes over the test for the last week, going to each others places and getting along with families. The goal was to see if us contestants were respectful and worthy to others at their houses. She then called us up to stand on the main platform so she could begin calling out the names.

"Alfie" Zoe Says. "will you accept this rose?" Alfie's head turns quickly towards Zoe in disbelief, not actually believing that he was first to be called up. He nods his head excitedly, taking the rose from Zoe and happily going to the other side of the room. "Marcus" she says next. Marcus agrees and takes the rose, joining Alfie. 4 more roses left. We're all still very nervous, as Zoe takes a pause between names. "Dan" She breathes out.

Dan moves from next to me, letting go of the hand i forgot i was holding, and accepting the rose. My anxiousness rises, making me know i want to stay in this competition with Dan. Zoe says another name, that i didn't hear. I know it was Caspar, as he walks up and kisses Zoe on the cheek, accepting the rose, like the smooth guy he is. I make eye contact with Dan across the room. He's gripping tightly onto the rose help in his hand, anticipating my name to be called.

"Finn" Zoe says, smiling at him as he begins his way towards her, and like the others, moves to the others side of the room. 1 more rose left. Zoe pauses even longer, eyes lingering on the four of us left on stage. Its just Jim, Josh and I left now. Zoe takes a breath, "Boy you are in the bottom three, could you please step forward." We all move slightly to be in front of her more, and i look to the corner of my eye to see dan chewing on his nails in anticipation. "So the last person to be called is..." I squeeze my eyes shut.

"Phil" i breathe a sigh of relief and open my eyes to see Dan smiling widely, happy that i got through. I give Jim and Josh a hug each knowing they are no longer in the competition and i could possibly not see them again. Josh looked pretty bummed about going home, while Jim looked sort of happy with it. Rumour had it that he had a girl back home that he liked anyway, and i guess it was true. I accepted the rose from Zoe, hugging her and whispering a thank you in her ear before going over to the rest of the boys. Dan hugged me as soon as i got there. I embraced him back happy that i didn't have to go home, and away from Dan.

Jim and Josh bid us all goodbyes and the cameras turned off. Ellie came over to us and congratulated us on our success so far in the competition and told us to get some sleep, to ready us for the next test of the show. We all said goodnight and headed back to our rooms. Dan and I walked in to see our beds still pushed together, into one, making us smile, before jumping into bed and savouring the happiness that we felt at this time. There was only 6 of us left in the completion and I was so glad i didn't have to leave Dan just yet. I turned my head to see Dan's Dimpled grin beaming back at me. No words were spoken because we already know what had to be said.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••A/N: Hey guys! So sorry for not updating as often as planned, it's now school holidays and I'm finished with exams for the term yay! I will try to have at least one more update these holidays and hopefully finish the story in the next month or two.
In other news TATINOF DOCUMENTARIES ARE ALMOST HERE! I'm excited and I might cry....
