"Truth is that it was always going to end

This symphony buzzing in my head

Took a market of filth

And sold it like summer

True, all of the good girls act so good

Til one of them doesn't wait their turn

Turn the memory to stone

And carve your shoulder

Hey holy roller" - The Good, The Bad and The Dirty

Phils POV

I got to my mums house, after driving for hours. She welcomed me at the door and i returned that welcome, by collapsing into her arms and sobbing. She thought it was because of Zoe, but boy was she wrong. I keep seeing Dans solemn look, when he told me he was taking the money. His eyes were distant and he wasn't letting his emotions affect his decision, when he came to it. I understand that he did it to help Megan and Peej, but it still hurt.

I walk further into the house, leaving my suitcase near the front door, before plonking down face-first onto the couch. I turn my head to see the TV, which of course was showing the advertisement for The Bachelorette final. Dans face appeared on the screen, as he was smiling into the camera, dimples on show, but the smile didn't quite meet his eyes. I grab the remote, turn the Tv off and sigh. The final was in a few days time, and all the old contestants were invited for it. I wasn't going to go. I wasn't even going to watch it on TV.

Dans POV

It was hard to focus, without Phil here. It was hard to do anything really. Because it was the final everything was more hectic around the house, even though there weren't as many as us like the start. The last challenge was today and the elimination was tonight. The challenge involved creating an artistic piece dedicated to Zoe. Alfie was planning on making a scrapbook of some sorts for her, filling it with pictures of their dates and their cute moments throughout the season.

I was sat at a grand piano that was brought in for me. I had started to compose a song to win the competition, but after looking at the lyrics, anyone could see that the song wasn't about Zoe. I sat here for a couple of hours and was preparing to perform it tonight. The song was complete, but i don't think i can play it with out getting emotional at all. I just had to test it out.

I was there for a little while longer, just perfecting some notes and trying to suppress my nerves, and before i knew it, it was time to go. I was already dressed and even had my hair styled, because Ellie brought in some stylists for the Grand Finale. I practised the song one more time, before standing and making my way outside to present the artistic pieces. Zoe was already there awaiting with a smile on her face, but she still sort of looked at me with a sadness in her eyes. i looked past it, instead going over the song in my head.

It didn't take long for the camera crew to walk out to film. everything had been set up beforehand, so we could take the scene in one go, like the other episodes, but in this challenge Alfie was to go first. The cameras started to film and as usual Ellie introduced us and the challenge, before directing the cameras to face Alfie and his creation. Alfie had a goofy smile on his face as he held an A4 scrapbook in his hand. He slowly walked over and put it on a pedestal in front of some cameras. Frame by frame, he turned the pages, showing cute moments Zoe and him had on their dates, like when Alfie got whipped cream on his nose and when Zoe was laughing at one of his cheesy jokes. The whole book was completely filled with love, and Zoe was smiling widely throughout the whole thing.
