Permanent Fling (BWWM)

prologue/chapter 1

It's been about 4 months and so far, so good. Especially since we just said 'I love you' for the first time to each other two weeks ago. It was magical like straight out of a fairy tale or something. That night was seriously amazing, he took me out to dinner, which was on this huge docked ship, then as night fell, we walked down to the beach and we sat around a little fire, then we went back to his place and baked our own dessert. As we were icing the cupcakes, that's when Jamie said it.

He told me that he loved me. I couldn't help myself, I said it right back to him. And he kissed me. We hadn't even made it all the way up the stairs before I was already in his arms. I always told myself that this would never happen to me. But somehow deep down inside I guess I've always wanted it. We went to his room and closed the door behind us.

And just like that it was over. It was perfect. Until I realized that I gave up my virginity to him. Though truly I am happy that I did it, because I do love him.

However, my best friends and I were currently gathered for an emergency meeting, as I took a pregnancy test. We were all in my bedroom waiting for what seemed like the longest 3 minutes of my life, I couldn't help but cry.

"it's ready!" My friend Lacy yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts. "...Oh and you're so pregnant!"

We all ran over to the washroom to check the stick and so I was. Just to make sure I took a few more tests, a few being 5. They all came out positive. I was trying to decide if I should tell Jamie now or wait until I actually go to the doctors office to be absolutely certain. Lacy & Terra told me to just let him know now cause we should be going through this together. So I called him up.

It just kept ringing and ringing. At this point I was kind of hoping that he wouldn't pick up.. because I had no clue what I was going to say. So I changed my mind, and just as I was about to hang up the phone, he picked up. Great. Well, I told him. He completely flipped out. He said he wasn't ready for a baby. That he didn't want a baby. But that he would take me to the doctors office tomorrow, and be with me every step of the way...
