I couldn't even look at Mckenzie without cringing the rest of the night.
I can't believe she made me do that!
All the guys weren't showing any signs that it was them, do I was left clueless.
"Alright, now you have to ask someone."
"Alright. JC. Truth or Dare?"
"After what just happened, truth." He said. I smirked.
"Who just went in the closet with me?"
"Okay, dare."
"I dare you to tell me the truth!" JC groaned and glared at Mckenzie.
"What am I supposed to do?!" He pleaded. She shrugged.
"Alright why don't we just stop playing?" Kian suggested. I rolled my eyes.
****after the party****
I was walking home alone, when I heard a twig snap.
I whipped my head around, frightened.
"Who's there?"
Silence.
I hate being alone at night. I began walking faster.
I looked back one more time and saw a boy.
He looked about my age, maybe a year or two older. I went to run, but they grabbed my arm.
"Hey where are you going?" Their voice was soft, yet creepy.
"Let go!" I shouted.
He seemed to be drunk; his breath heavy of liquor.
"What do you want?! Let go of me!"
I twisted and pulled. It was no use. They were stronger than me.
"Help!" I shouted hoping someone would hear.
Kian's house wasn't that far away, only about three houses down.
If I scream loud enough I could probably get the guys' attention.
The creep started trying to kiss me, saying, "Stop struggling, I'll be done in no time. "
"HELP!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
I finally got them to hear me. JC, Kian, Ricky and Connor filed out of the house.
They noticed me right away.
As they ran over, I realized what I should've down all along.
I swung my knee up, right where it hurts any guy the most.
"Bitch!" He doubled over in pain.
"Oh my god what happened? Are you okay?" JC asked me.
I nodded. I was silent and still petrified.
He hugged me along with Ricky and Connor.
Wait, wheres Kian?
I turned and found Kian with his fist raised, about to strike.
I ran up to stop him.
"Kian, no stop it!" I looked at the creep closer.
I never even put it together until now.
"You're airport guy, aren't you!"
Kian looked confused.
"He's the guy that stole my purse!" All the guys stared at him with shock.
"You really are only giving more reasons to hate him. Can I please just kick his ass?" He pleaded.
I shrugged and nodded.
Connor, Ricky and JC ran into the fight to help him out.
The guy finally surrendered and ran away with a black eye and bloody nose.
Kian ran up to me with a small object in his hand.
"I think this belongs to you."
He handed me my iPhone, the one the he stole yesterday.
"He had it on him?" He nodded.
I stood on my tippy-toes and hugged him.
"Thank you, Kian." I whispered.
He squeezed me so hard, he cracked my back.
"Ow!" I laughed.
He grinned and we watched as the other boys flew back into the house.
"I'll walk you home." We turned and began walking me down the street.
"Are you okay?" I nodded.
"I can't believe that jerk. He mugged you, and then tried to-"
"Kian, it's okay."
"I just don't want anyone to hurt you."
Our eyes met and I could see the sincerity in his voice. We were a house away from mine.
"I really appreciate you walking me home."
"It's the least I could do." We walked up the driveway to my front door.
"I've really missed you, Carrie." I smiled.
"Kian, I am dying to know...who went into the closet with me?"
"I'll give you a hint. 'This is gonna be awkward'."
My jaw dropped.
"It was you?!" He smiled, slightly embarrassed.
"Oh well, um it really doesn't mean anything-" I began.
He leaned in, grabbing one of my hands and putting his other on my waist.
His lips were warm and soft, like they'd been a few hours ago.
This was probably the best kiss I've ever gotten.
My arms were lined with goosebumps. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He leaned me against the front door, and finally pulled back.
"Wow." He said. We both laughed.
We stood there just smiling at each other for a few minutes.
"Goodnight, Kian." I turned my doorknob and floated upstairs.
