Gotta See! Gotta Know! Kakashi Sensei's Real Face

(Kazumi's P.O.V.)

"That's it! Nothing's gonna stop me from seeing that face!" Naruto shouts in frustration
"Yeah but how? You got any ideas?" Sakura asks
"Don't you worry...We'll see it one way or another" Naruto creepily says
"I'm asking you how you stupid little troll!" Sakura exclaims hitting Naruto on his head knocking him on his butt
"Alright smartypants, how do you propose we do it?" Naruto rubs the top of his head where a bump was starting to form
"Well we.."
"We'll just have to tail him around for the day. He'll take off the mask eventually" Sasuke casually says walking away
"Oh Sasuke, I swear you are so smart!~" Sakura gushes
"Oh whatever, great plan captain obvious" Naruto says annoyed
"I'm sorry, what was that?!" Sakura leans in close to Naruto's face threateningly
"Uhh, nevermind" he trails off
"So, anyone have any ideas where we can find Kakashi?" Sasuke asks
"Why not ask Kazumi to sniff him out like last time?" Naruto questions
"I would rather not waste my chakra this time when we could just look for him" I say
"Fine, but where are we gonna find him? He could be anywhere"
"I remember him going left after we left Ichiraku ramen, that means he's going to the shopping district area. So our best bet would be to look there first" Sasuke says
"Alright. Let's go!" Naruto hurries to run past Sasuke
"You loser, stop going to fast" Sasuke complains
"Why? You just mad because I'm a faster than you?" Naruto asks
"No. If you keep walking around like that it'll give away our position too easily and it'll be obvious we were following Kakashi sensei" Sasuke says
"Fine! Then we run the rooftops" Sasuke rolls his eyes but follows after Naruto.
"Alright! I'm gonna find Kakashi sensei before you can say--"
"Found him" Sasuke mutters
"What?!"
"He's in the checkout with groceries" Sasuke points through the window of the market. Sakura and I climb up the side of a nearby building jogging to catch up to them
"Why the heck would he be there?" Naruto asks
"Because he needed to go shopping loser" Sasuke says
"Shut up! How the heck was I supposed to know?!"
"Maybe because that all markets have?" Sasuke says
"Shut up!"
"Naruto! If you don't shut up Kakashi sensei is going to be onto us" Sakura says kicking Naruto in the shins
"Ow! What was that for?!" Naruto complains
"Can it loser, here he comes" Sasuke shuts him up. Kakashi sensei starts walking down the street quietly humming to himself as we follow not too far behind on the rooftops. Suddenly Kakashi sensei stops mid-step in the air looking at a pink shop with 'Makeout Paradise' on display. Kakashi drops his bags on the ground walking up to the window smashing his face in the window to get a better look quietly giggling
"What in the world is Kakashi sensei doing?" Naruto questions
"It's so disappointing" Sakura says. Kakashi sensei suddenly turns around in our direction, thinking we were caught we ducked our heads so he couldn't see us
"He's onto us!"
"Naruto, you idiot. You blew our cover!"
"Why the heck is it my fault?" Naruto questions
"Wait. My favorite book is going to be a movie? I better order tickets in advance!" Kakashi rushes off down the street corner
"Hey, he's on the move" Sakura whispers
"Lets go before we lose him" Sasuke says
"Yeah" We all jump off the roof onto the street following closely behind Kakashi without getting too close. When we turn around the corner Kakashi was nowhere in sight
"He's gone!"
'No duh' I think to myself
"Great, he got away"
"Are you kidding? Where did he vanish off to?"
"How nice this is" I mutter
"Hey, what are you four doing? Did you guys need me for something?" Kakashi's voice says behind us. It caught us all off guard and we all jumped
"Uh, no. Not really" everyone says quickly shaking their heads
"Hm..." Kakashi says, we all turn around and his eyes are narrowed trying to find any signs of a lie
"Then what are you doing out here?" he asks
"We...needed to buy some treats" I quickly say pointing my finger at the market
"Kakashi sensei, we feel like we aren't challenged. We want a mission for today!" Sakura says quickly
"What?!" we all whisper yell at her
"Well, lucky for you guys I already got us a mission today" he smiles through his mask
"Since when?" we ask
"Well I actually did it yesterday and I forgot to tell you guys" he says and we all glare at him
"Well, I gotta get home and drop this off. Meet me at the gate at 5 and we'll leave, I'll see you guys later" Kakashi waves us goodbye
"O-Ok, bye..." Sakura waves back. We all waited for a minute until we knew for sure he was gone
"Hey, how'd he figure out we were tailing him huh?" Naruto asks
"Maybe there was just too many of us" Sakura suggests
"Oh please, if you know how to hide it doesn't matter how many people there are. Don't tell me you've forgotten all of your jutsu Sakura" Naruto creepily says
"You're the one who forgets!" she smacks him on the head once again sending him to the ground on his butt
"We should shadow him, it'll be good practice. But we should do it solo this time" Sasuke casually says walking away
"Yeah. I think so too, we should totally ditch Naruto"
"Say what?!" Naruto protests loudly
"Hurry up you guys or we're gonna lose him" Sasuke says
"Coming!" Sakura chases after him
"Hmph!" Naruto grunts still on the ground crossing his arms with a pout. I roll my eyes reaching a hand out for him to take, he gladly takes it as I pull him up
"We should go or they're probably gonna ditch us" Naruto jogs ahead. I 'hn' following behind him meeting up with Sasuke and Sakura not too far away
"Alright, who's going to take the first watch?" asks Sasuke
"Me! I'll do it!" Naruto volunteers waving his hand wildly
"Alright, we're gonna get some tea across the street, if you got anything come back and tell us how it went. We'll take turns and until everyone's done it'll be over hopefully" Sasuke explains
"Alright, I'll be back and I'll give you a full description of what his face looks like" Naruto runs away with a jump in his step
"What a loser" Sasuke mutters
"No doubt he'll be caught by Kakashi sensei like last time" Sakura says sticking her nose in the air
"Hn" Sasuke says walking into the little shop as the bell dings above him so they know we just came in
"Wow, this place looks pretty cool" Sakura awes
"It opened not too long ago, but it's getting good business" Sasuke says
"NEWBYYYYYYYYYYY~!!" someone screams in my ear. Out of shock I jump slightly giving a small shriek
"Hahahahahaha! Ah man, you shoulda seen your face! That was awesome!!" Akira sensei says laughing
"Ah! I hate when you do that!" I say angrily
"I know, everybody does" she grins
"Oh, Akira sensei!" Sakura says surprised, I was so busy with plugging my ears I didn't see Akira sensei throw her arm over my head until I felt the noogie
"So how ya been newby?" she says letting go slapping me on the back and I almost fell over
"Been alright, not too much to say" I grumble straightening my back
"Oh~ Somebody's grumpy" she teases as I glare at her
"Akira sensei, what are you doing here?" Sakura questions
"I work here, I was just taking this order to that table over there" she points to a tough looking group banging on their table for service
"Yeah yeah, I'm comin! Jeez, keep your girly pants on" she shouts grabbing the tray of food
"Be right back" she says walking away. Someone taps me on my shoulder and I turn around seeing an old woman smiling softly
"I apologize for any inconvenience she may have caused you, she tends to be rather blunt with how she says things" she says
"There's no need for you to apologize, I've gotten used to the way she does things" I say sighing at the end
"Oh, do you know her?" she asks curiously
"Yes, she was my teacher before the chunin exams a while back" I say
"Oh, so you're the girl she was teaching" she says with a smile and I nod
"Oh, how nice. Well, if you'd like I can take your order" she says
"That would be nice, we would like 3 green teas please" I say smiling softly
"Alright then, take a seat anywhere you like dear" she says walking away
"We should probably wait outside for when Naruto comes back" Sasuke says and we all nod


After about 5 minutes she comes outside where we were sitting and hands us our tea still hot. All of us take one sip of the tea and it felt so refreshing going down our throats at the same time everyone released a sigh of relief. Footsteps were coming closer and when we looked over it was Naruto rubbing the back of his head
"....He got away..." he says sheepishly
"Just as clumsy as always" Sakura says
"Why are you such an idiot?" Sasuke asks and Naruto drops his head in disappointment
"Sakura, it's your turn" Sasuke says
"Right" she goes to stand up but there was the slightest sound of thunder in the distance as water drizzled down
"Hey, it's starting to rain" Naruto says
"We can see that Naruto" Sakura says. The rain was starting to feel good on my skin as the tiny droplets dripped on my face and down my arms. The water always felt so good. Wait. Rain means water. Water means I can sneak up on Kakashi and follow him with ease. The drizzle was light and if I wanted this to work in my favor I have to be quick and do it before the rain stops
"Sit down Sakura, I'll take this one" I say standing up handing my cup to Naruto
"A-Are you sure?" she asks but I don't answer her and continue to walk. I smell the air inhaling deeply searching for any sort of sign of where he is but I can't seem to find him. It took a while before I could smell him but he was looking in the book shop he had passed after he was done with the market. He was peering closely at one particular book and it was blue with pink and purple lining, on the title it said 'Bared to you' it was too far away for me to see the author but it was obvious what kind of book it was. Kakashi had payed for his book and had already started reading.
""Natasha, is something the matter?" he asked. His mother called him to the kitchen and he was curious as to why she summoned him. When he arrived, she was lying on the floor with her hand reaching out to the phone across the kitchen. "Mother!" he called kneeling to the floor grasping her ice cold hand slowly fading" he read out loud walking down the road. I made hand signs quietly being sure to keep my movements unseen. I focus deeply on my chakra and my body was turning to water falling to the ground traveling along the road with the rain
""She held onto him and she weeped into his chest clinging to his shirt not at all worried about the rain that was dripping upon her. "I don't know what to do" she tells him with a strained and cracked voice "You don't have to know. All you have to do is go with me" he says into her ear softly "But who's going to take care of the family?" she asks "Your family can be on their own, you only need me" he leans in for a kiss with his lips puckered when a voice called out to him saying his name. "What are you doing with this woman?!" she bellows loudly" Kakashi kept reading. I move my body along with the stream following him closely. Sooner than I thought the rain stopped and the water was now still and not moving.
"Hm, the rain stopped. Well, while I'm here I think I'll pick up some flowers" he stopped and looked across the street where Ino's family worked. No one was around this area most likely to keep out of the rain, Kakashi took a step in my direction and I started to feel nervous. If he kept going he was going to step on top of me, if I moved it would be an obvious give away. Damn it, he's getting closer! I have no choice but to let him keep going, I closed my eyes so I didn't see him step on me. I could feel his foot go through my body and it didn't hurt but it didn't feel comfortable either. After he walked into the shop with the 'ding' of the bell above him, once he was gone I turned my body into a solid finally feeling where Kakashi stepped on me. I looked to my shoulder where he stepped on me and there was a shoe print on my shoulder blade!



I've been waiting outside this store for more than half an hour and he still hasn't come out. Getting very impatient I open the door as the same 'ding' sounds above me, and in the shop I saw no Kakashi!
"Hello and welcome to--Oh great, it's you" Ino's voice said to me
"Where is Kakashi?" I ask her blankly
"What the heck are you talking about? He never came in, no one came in since the rain even started" Ino said. I could not believe what the hell was happening to me today. ARGH! I was not going to take any of this anymore! I stormed off down the street until I came to the shop where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura all took a sip of their tea. After hearing my heavy footsteps they all turn their attention to me
"Well? What happened?" asks Naruto curiously. I don't answer and instead glare at the seat Sakura was in quietly demanding a seat. She got the message and stood up setting her cup next to Sasuke
"Looks like you're next Sakura" Naruto says
"I can see that" Sakura glares stomping away
"Hm? What's that on your shoulder?" Sasuke asks pointing to the spot where Kakashi stepped on me
"Kakashi sensei stepped on me" I say grumpily. He nods licking his finger wiping away the mark on my shoulder until it was gone
"Thanks" I say


Sakura comes back later on sheepishly scratching her cheek sticking out her tongue. Everyone drops their head in disappointment groaning at another failed attempt


Sasuke later comes back and with a frown on his face
"Sasuke, how did it go?" Sakura asks
"I got tired of shadowing him" he says looking away. At the same time we all lower our heads again in disappointment
"Wow, you guys look like total crap" Akira sensei says and we all glare at her
"So what're you guys trying to accomplish anyway? Looks big" she says placing her head in her hands as if she was ready for story time
"We're trying to see Kakashi sensei's real face but it's a lot harder than we thought" Naruto says
"AHH!!" she screams and we look at her strangely
"DO NOT try to do that! Don't you know that's suicide?!" she screeches
"What do you mean by that?" Naruto asks
"I tried to do that once, I was just a kid and he was probably still a teen or something but I got curious and tried to take off his mask by force" she says looking scared out of her mind
