Zero Visibility: The Sharingan Shatters

(Kazumi's P.O.V.)


"Well, well. So I had it right. It was all an act. An act with a cute little mask" said Kakashi
"Huh?" asked Sakura still confused
"Big phony" said Sasuke
"So I guess all that about being a tracker ninja protecting his village was just a bunch of bull" said Tazuna
"They look pretty chummy to me. I'd say they've been pulling scams like that for a long time"
"He's got some nerve facing us again after pulling that trick" said Sakura
"And hiding behind a mask. Who does he think he's fooling?" asks Kakashi
"Ehem, speak for yourself sensei"
"That's it, I'm taking him out" said Sasuke and I look at him worried but turned back at Haku seriously
"If you think you're the only one who get some kind of action with him you're wrong" I said
"Who does he think he's fooling?"
'Uhhh, Kakashi already asked that Sasuke' I thought
"Hiding behind that mask like some sort of clown" he asks
"Sasuke~ You're so cool" squealed Sakura
'Really? Now? Now is the time you wanna fan girl over my brother?' I asked myself with a sweatdrop but Sasuke just ignored her.
"They're impressive" said Haku
"Even though they were just 1/10th of the original water clone jutsu, he did destroy them all. And she was able to survive your beating and carries on like she doesn't have a scratch on her. Even though I want to fight them both, I want to see one of their strengths before challenging them both" said Haku looking at me through his mask
"That move still gave us the first advantage. Now use it" said Zabuza
"Right" he said and he ran at Sasuke twirling like a tornado, I grabbed my katana but Kakashi sensei put his arm out to stop me. Sasuke brought up his kunai knifes stopping Haku's attack

"Sakura, Kazumi! Cover Tazuna. And stay close to me, let Sasuke handle this" said Kakashi as I ran to Tazuna holding my katana
"We want the bridge builder, not you. If you back down, I won't have to kill you" he said
"Save it"
"You're making a mistake. You won't be able to keep up with my speed. I've gained two key advantages"
"Yeah? What are they?" he asks
"First, we're surrounded by water. Second, I've blocked one of your hands, therefore. You only have one free hand to defend yourself" said Haku making one handed jutsus. That made me nervous. I knew how to do one handed jutsus already but Sasuke hasn't seen anything like that before and I never used it on him in training so he's not used to fighting with one hand.
"Secret jutsu: a thousand needles of death" said Haku as all the water from the clones Sasuke took down rise and surround Haku
"Sasuke!" called Sakura as all the water turns into needles and all go to Sasuke and I was panicking, but he was calm. He summoned all his chakra as they head right at him as Haku jumps away. When all the needles disappeared, Sasuke was in the air ready to jump at him. He throws shuriken at Haku who just jumps back each time getting out of the way. It was silent for a minute and Sasuke appears behind Haku.
"You're not as fast as you think. From this point on, you'll be the one to be defending against my attacks" said Sasuke and they circled around each other and crossed blades again. Sasuke found an opening and threw a kunai right at Haku's head but Haku ducked right before it hit him giving Sasuke another opening kicking Haku to the ground as he ducked. I was mentally cheering for him and I had a little more confidence now, but I'm not going to get cocky and jinx it.
"Thought you were quicker huh? Now what else are you wrong about?" asked Sasuke mockingly
"You made a big mistake insulting these ninja and calling them brats. That's just guaranteed to bring out Sasuke's attitude, especially after you almost killed his sister. He's one of the best young fighter of the hidden leaf village right beside Kazumi, the silent and fierce ninjas of the Uchiha clan. And Sakura here is our sharpest mind. And last but not least, the number 1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja is Naruto Uzumaki" said Kakashi and I blushed in embarrassment from his comment about me, again I'm not used to compliments from him. Zabuza starts chuckling and I look at him in a defensive stance ready to fight.
"Heh, Haku. If we keep going like this, we'll be the victims instead of them. Get on with it!" he said looking at Haku standing up.
"Right" he says as his chakra is radiating off him
"I'm sorry it's come to this" he said. The temperature started to drop and my skin was starting to crawl.
"The air, it's so cold" he said as Haku raised his hands and a giant pillar came out of the ground where the water was, he didn't even see it. Thinking he wasn't going to see it any time soon, I was rushing to go over and help him but Zabuza intercepted me and I couldn't get past.
"Secret jutsu: crystal ice mirrors" said Haku as all the water surrounding both of them turned into solid ice. When Zabuza was turned around to look over at him I teleported myself over to Sasuke.
"Wha-Kazumi! Come back here!" called Sakura
All the mirrors lit up and Haku stepped in one of them sinking into it entirely, his reflection came out on all of the mirrors and they all had senbon needles in their hands aimed at us. I heard someone try to come up behind us but stopped half way when I heard Zabuza
"If you enter this fight, you fight me. Your kids have no chance against that jutsu, they're finished" he said
"Now, we'll begin. And I'll show you what speed really means" said Haku raising his needles aiming them at us as I hold my katana in front of me. They all threw the needles and they all come at an alarming rate. I can barely see some of them coming at us! I deflect some of the needles coming my way still scratching my hips, arms, and some parts of my legs. I deflected as many as I could but a lot of them flew at me too quick for me to block. I struggled to keep up and grunted in annoyance, I looked over and a lot of needles are going at Sasuke one of them knocking his kunai out of his hand.
"Sasuke!" I call losing my focus letting more needles come at me. I grit my teeth and sprint my way over to Sasuke getting hit mostly in my legs. Haku is trying to slow me down more than anything. I make my way over to Sasuke and deflect as many needles as I can still getting scratched behind me and in front of me as Sasuke is still getting some in his back as I defend him from the front.
"K-Kazumi? Wh-what are you doing? Get out!" he yelled at me as I'm still trying to defend myself against all the needles not moving an inch.
"It's called team work for a reason Sasuke! And I'm not going to watch you get killed when I can help you!" I yell back at him
"Just try to help them. And I'll kill the other 2 in a heart beat" threatened Zabuza behind us
"Take this!" called Sakura and out of the corner of my eye I can see Sasuke's kunai knife coming back at us with Sakura in the air throwing it. All the mirrors stopped throwing needles much to my relief until I can finally feel all the needles in my body leaking blood from every scratch. Haku catches the kunai before it makes it past him almost getting to Sasuke, I drop to one knee in exhaustion panting. I hear a 'thud' and when I turned around, Sasuke is on the ground panting harder than me. I put a hand on his back and he looks up at me.
"Kazumi, I told you to get out" he said weakly
"I'm not going anywhere" I said
"Don't stay here with me, you're only going to get yourself killed" he said louder
"If you were in my position and I asked you to leave, would you go or stay with me?" I asked and look back up at Haku with Sasuke's kunai still in his hand, I stand up weakly pointing my katana at him
"Come at me" I said
"Very well" he said readying the kunai knife aiming at me as I take a deep breath. A shuriken comes out of the corner of my eye and I see it going at Haku, it hits him in the face and he falls out of his ice mirror much to my confusion. I didn't see Sakura throw it and Kakashi can't move without Zabuza in front of him. I sniff the air and I can already smell the ramen and leftover salmon on his clothes. Naruto doesn't always have the best timing, but he's surprisingly on time for once.
A big puff of smoke pops up next to the ice mirrors and standing there with a big grin is none other than Naruto.
"Number 1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja" said Haku as the smoke clears more and people can see him better.
"Naruto Uzumaki is here. Yeah, believe it!" he says as I sweat drop at his entrance.
"Ha! Now that I'm here everything will be alright" he said
"Naruto!" said Sakura happily for the first time I've ever seen
"You know how in stories the hero usually shows up at the last minute and kicks butt? Well that's what I'm gonna do right now, believe it!" he said pointing his finger at us.
"Ugh! This brat again" said Zabuza, I was looking over at Sasuke and he looked like more than anything he wanted to shut him up.
"All right! You're history, shadow clone jutsu" he said really loud as Zabuza threw 1/2 a dozen shuriken at him.
"Naruto! Get out of the way!" yelled Kakashi as Naruto froze up and it looked like he was going to get hit but Haku threw needles at the shuriken stopping them from getting too close.
"What are you doing Naruto?! Are you crazy?!"
"This is a battle, not a talent show! Don't let your opponent see your jutsu!" scolded Kakashi
"A shinobi's art is deception. Always keep the enemy guessing. Even when executing a single jutsu one must distract their opponent's attention, catch them off balance and out maneuver them. You just turned yourself into a human target when you enter a battle like that"
"Ahhhhh!! I'm sorry! I was just trying to rescue everybody" yelled Naruto holding his head
"But there's another mystery here" said Kakashi glancing at Haku
"Haku! What are you doing?"
"Zabuza. This boy, let me fight him my own way, please" he said as Naruto got ready
"Bring it on!" said Naruto
"Hmph. So you want me to leave this to you. Is that it Haku? As usual, you're too soft"
"Forgive me"
"I'm warning you. One way or another I'm gonna rip off that mask and take you apart" yelled Naruto pointing his finger at him.
"Don't even think about it. You know the score Kakashi, if you go after Haku I go after the bridge builder" he said standing in Kakashi's way again
"Relax Kakashi, sit back and enjoy the show. Let's see how they do. One on one"
"That mask, and your bogus story. You were with Zabuza all along. You think you can get away with a stunt like that?!"
"I'm sorry. But as your sensei said, deceiving your opponent, catching them off guard, that is the art of the shinobi. Please don't take it personally" said Haku and I felt Sasuke move behind me and he was holding his kunai throwing it at Haku but he nimbly dodged the attack. Naruto looked over at us finally figuring out where we were.
"I haven't forgotten about you, not for an instant. Some warriors accept defeat gracefully, they know when they are beaten. Others do not. So be it. Let us finish out battle then, to the death" said Haku walking over to us again as I stood in front of Sasuke
"And you, you haven't even left his side since you got in my ice mirrors. Even though you protect him, that doesn't mean you will make it out of this alive either" he said
"Wh--Hey! Where are you going?!"
"It's alright Naruto, we'll have our fight next" he said walking into his ice mirrors as the images of him show up again. Sasuke looks at all the different mirrors and reaches for his weapon pouch
"I'm behind you" said Haku from behind us holding lots of needles in his hand. He instantly throws them at us and I do my best to deflect all that I can but one goes through my leg and I felt like I couldn't stand, this gives Haku an advantage as he throws more needles at me throwing me back into Sasuke rolling onto the ground.
"Ah! Sasuke! Kazumi!" shouted Sakura from the other side.
"Sasuke! Naruto! Kazumi! Think. You need to attack from the outside and from the inside at the same time!" shouted Kakashi as I struggle to get up holding my katana in one hand to support myself.
"Hey! I snuck in here to save ya!" whispered Naruto in front of Sasuke sitting down right next to me.
"Pretty cool move huh Sasuke?" asks Naruto as I sweatdrop. Moron, there's no other word to describe him. He's a moron.
"You are a complete loser! You're a shinobi, think carefully before you move!" Sasuke yelled at him
"What the heck's your problem?! You should thank me for coming in here to help you guys" he yelled back
"Naruto! If we're both inside here..Grrrrr..!! Forget it! I've had it with your mistakes"
"And I've had it with your attitude. Believe it!"
"That's it. I'm going to destroy these mirrors right now!" he said making rapid hand signs
"Fire style"
"Hey! What attack are you using?"
"These mirrors are made of ice, so how do you destroy ice? Figure it out! Fireball jutsu" he said creating flames from his mouth blowing them at all the mirrors hoping to melt them. But when the fire disappeared, the mirrors were still there much to my surprise.
"That didn't do anything at all!" yelled Naruto
"You'll need much more heat than that to melt this ice" said Haku grabbing more needles throwing them at us making us all fly in the air going backward.
"Where is he? Where's the needle attack coming at us from? Are they clones?"
"We've gotta find the real one. But which is it?"
"Look into every mirror as hard as you like. You will never learn the secret" stated Haku
"Oh yeah? Shadow clone jutsu" said Naruto, did he seriously not hear what Kakashi sensei said?
"No! Don't!" yelled Sasuke
"You got a hundred mirrors, then a hundred of me will smash them all" he said as all the clones ran at the mirrors but it looked like Haku was just standing there and the clones were getting ripped to pieces making them all disappear as the real Naruto fell to the ground.
"These mirrors only reflect my image allowing me to transport myself at light speed. Through my eyes, you appear to be moving in slow motion" said Haku and I used my sword to support myself to at least stand on one leg but even then it was hard to move. Haku noticed this and threw more needled in my direction making me fall to the ground once more in pain.
"Kazumi!" they both yelled as I grit my teeth and reach for my katana I had next to me. I saw my katana in arms reach and tried to grab it, but in the next moment I didn't see it. I looked around frantically and Haku was in the mirrors all of them holding my katana in their hands.
"This is a very nice blade, it compliments your fighting style and you were able to stop most of my attacks without getting any harmful scratches on your blade. Interesting. Unfortunately, if we're going to finish this battle we have to get rid of unwanted space" he said throwing my katana out of the mirrors to Kakashi sensei's feet.
"I couldn't break through. So what? He's not gonna stop me" said Naruto
"I'm not giving up and I'm not gonna lose here. 'Cause I have a dream and no one's going to take it away from me. Someday I'll be respected by the village, that's my dream. To be the greatest Hokage" said Naruto and Haku just stood there like he was frozen in place.
"It was not a desire to be a shinobi, it's painful. I don't want to kill you, but if you advance I will have no choice. Then I will kill the kindness in my own heart, and fully embrace the shinobi way. And there will be no mercy. No turning back. This bridge will be the battle field where my dreams collide, now I must fight for my dream. Just as you fight for yours, please do not blame me. I fight for someone who is precious to me. I live for him, and I face death for him. So that his dream will become a reality, that is my dream. And for the sake of that dream, if I must I will act as a shinobi and take your lives" said Haku as we just stare at him. He's fighting to be with someone and he really didn't want to be a shinobi but he wanted to because that meant he was with him. I understand somewhat of what he might have been through, he must've fought hard to earn his place next to Zabuza. We all flash him a smile as Naruto and Sasuke help me stand, I may not have my katana but I have my kunai knifes. Let's see how well I do without it. And so the battle actually began
