Please Don't Leave Me

A New Sensei: Akira Honda

(Kazumi's P.O.V.)
(Inside her dream)
It was so dark, wherever I was. It was familiar, it was where I first saw Orochimaru in my mind, when he first convinced me to lend him my power and I used my demon jutsu almost killing my team mates if Naruto hadn't stopped me. I was bound by chains, the same ones that had my worries, and priorities, the big ones that made me scared, terrified even. I was still in so much pain, it was coming from my neck where Orochimaru marked me. I may be unconscious, but it still hurt me wherever I was.

A familiar voice started chuckling at me as I tug on my chains trying to break free, to be as far away from him as I could be. I could hardly move around my chains and it was tugging me every which way making me wince at the pinching until I feel a lightning sensation go through my body making me scream out in pain as I try to struggle out of my chains harder before I realize that was only making it more painful. the voice darkly chuckled at me again until he stepped out of the shadows revealing none other than Orochimaru grinning at me creepily.

"My my, I never expected you to overpower the curse mark. It must've been a difficult task to do, but it must've been even more painful than it was frustrating, out of all my test subjects you and your brother have shown the most progress of the curse marks limitations and powers. I expected you to fall like everyone else, but you're still standing and kicking. No matter how much it hurts. But you should know you aren't going to be able to release yourself from all those chains, it's what you've decided it your priority and there's no escaping. Even if you accomplish it, and move on to new things, the more you dream and the more you try to change what you said you would become, it'll only make more chains that'll be impossible to escape. You could be the most powerful ninja of all time and you're not going to break yourself from the chains that hold you down to reality, the more you think and dream, the more chains will be added until your body simply can't handle itself anymore. Right now it's only 6 chains, but more and more will come and each will be more painful than the last" he says playing with the chains holding my right hand, I grit my teeth in anger and keep in all my whimpers and screams as much as I can until I feel something wrap itself around my upper arm.

Then it starts sparking until it's electrocuting me twice as powerful as before making me scream even louder trying to struggle to move myself out of the chains but I hardly move an inch making the pain intensify until it stops and my voice is sore from screaming so loud as I'm breathing heavily and my body is trembling still trying to get over the shock. The chain starts to glow and it's spelling something I can't see, I try to look over and see what it says but when I started moving it starts electrocuting me again making me scream in agony until the pain dies down.

"Well, lets see what this one says shall we?" asks Orochimaru reading the chain before he starts chuckling darkly turning his head to me looking highly amused
"Well, this is interesting. Your new and probably bigger than most problems, is me" he says as I look in the corner of my eye and see his name on the new chain on my upper arm
"I thought I was going to have a bigger impact than that, how disappointing" he says looking me in the eye as he starts walking over to me until he stops right in front of my face, he uses his thumb and pointer finger to grab my chin forcing me to look up at him. His hands are like acid and it feels like it's burning off my flesh making me whimper in pain trying to keep in my screams.
"It's time to go now, but I'll be waiting and watching. My little demon" he says as I feel the world around me getting darker and darker until there's nothing left.

(Outside her dream)

I feel myself start to wake up and it starts getting brighter and brighter until I can't take it and try to lift my hand up to block the light. I feel a sharp pain in my neck as I use the same arm and bring it down to my neck and apply pressure to get it to stop, only getting a small amount of relief.
"Kakashi sensei! She's waking up! Kazumi!" I hear a voice yell in my ear making me cringe until I hear the sound of someone hitting them on the head.
"Naruto, you shouldn't be so loud. She's in a lot of pain and I'm pretty sure you aren't helping" says another voice as I identify to be Kakashi sensei
"Right, my bad" he says sheepishly
"Loser" I hear Sasuke say
"Shut up Sasuke!" yells Naruto making me cringe again until I hear him get hit on the head again, but what catches my attention is I can hear a small 'beep beep beep' that sounds like a heart rate monitor, which gives me the impression I'm at a hospital
"Ok, Kazumi. You're awake right?" Kakashi's voice says as I weakly nod
"Ok, then can you try to open your eyes for us?" he asks as I nod again forcing my eyelids to open before I close them because of the brightness of the room until I'm comfortable enough to open most of the way. I look to the side and Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, a man I haven't met before, and another lady who looks like she's no more than 16. She had brown hair that went down to her shoulder blades, hazel eyes, and a fairly nice sense of style. A simple red top with a black and silver vest and plain black skirt that went to her knees.
"You're awake! Sweet!" Naruto says in an excited voice
"Naruto, this might be a challenge for you, but I need to ask you to calm down. She's probably not in the best shape and you're being too loud" Kakashi sensei says to him and I remember what happened at the exams before I passed out
"What happened with the exams?" I ask
"You were in a lot of pain and Kakashi sensei knocked you out so you can get some sleep" says Naruto slightly glaring at Kakashi that he doesn't notice
"I sealed your curse mark while you were out, so there's no worry there" whispers Kakashi in my ear making me nod in understanding
"While you were out, they announced who was moving on to the final rounds. Yes, you made it. Your opponent is named Keiichi Takeo, he had one of the highest scores in the first phase of the chunin exam, he's smart but he has trouble with taijutsu from what I can tell. He defeated his opponent in only twenty minutes, and he was at first against fighting a girl but at the end accepted it" he says
"I can't be your teacher for this because I'm training your brother, but I found someone who would be a better sensei for you than me" he says as he gestures to the one lady standing next to Naruto
"Her name is Akira Honda and she became a jounin at the age of 14 and she's preparing for her own team when the next genin squads graduate next year. Until then, she's agreed to help you with your training for the final chunin exam" he explains
"Yo" she says holding her fingers up saying peace
"And this is Jiraiya, one of legendary sannin who will be training Naruto" he says gesturing to the other man beside Naruto
"But I call him pervy sensei" claims Naruto
"How many times do I have to tell you, don't call me that!" he yells at Naruto
"When you stop being such a pervert, then I'll stop calling you that" he says crossing his arms stubbornly
"If you feel up to it, you can leave the hospital today and take it easy until tomorrow" says Kakashi as I nod my head taking out the needles in my arm making the heart monitor go 'beeeeeeeeeeep' as more nurses and doctors rush over to check the problem but sigh in relief to see I just took off the needles
"You know, you could've waited until the nurses came by and did it for you" says Kakashi sweatdropping at me as Akira sensei comes up to me
"Come on, if you're gonna be training with me we got a lot of stuff to do first, for starters clothes" says Akira as I stare at her in confusion
"Clothes?" I repeat in confusion
"Yes clothes, if I'm going to be training with a student they need to look even better than the jutsus they learn from me. But we have to be careful with what we're going to buy because it's gotta be an outfit presentable for the final part of the chuunin exams" she says taking my wrist dragging me out of the hospital.
"Be careful! She just woke up" calls Kakashi sensei behind us but she doesn't even listen as she still has a strong grip on my hand and doesn't look like she's letting go anytime soon, until she turns around to look at me
"Really quick, show me that fancy sword you got on your back" she says as I hand her my katana and she inspects it
"I think I know how to make these even better" she says and I stare at her curiously
"You know those nun-chuck chains right?" she asks as I nod my head
"I think we can add some chains just like those to the end of your sword so you don't have to keep using those stupid strings on these" she says and I look at her uncertainly, it was the katana Itachi gave me, if she replaced it or changed it I don't think I want to change it, she notices my look and smiles
"Don't worry, it's not like it's going to be a big change, the handle of your katana is empty for the most part and I just wanna fill that empty part with small but long chains that you can remove at your will, you'll still have the hidden thrower and the rest of the katana won't be changed" she says and I think about her offer for a minute and it might be nice to have another advantage in battle and nodded my head. She smiles and gives me my katana back before grabbing my wrist dragging me again as we round the corner and I see a small shop with short and tall manikins wearing small and large ninja clothes in ninja poses. She opens the door to the shop as the little bell above the door gave a small jingle signaling someone was entering the store, a young woman came from the back room and went behind the register
"Welcome to the-- Oh, hey Akira. Did you come to bring another victim of your fashion statement with you?" she asks teasing
"There's no way I'm going to teach someone who doesn't at least dress amazing" she says going to the back of the store leaving me with the register lady
"Don't think you're going to be leaving anytime soon, she can't leave anywhere unless she's completely satisfied. Just to warn you though, she scared away some of the students she was going to train because she was so crazy about dealing with their clothes" she says as I groan
"Come on, it isn't that bad, you're exaggerating a bit aren't you?" Akira calls from the back of the store
"But you scared that poor little girl away after trying to force her into one of the millions of outfits you chose for that week" she replies
"She wasn't very willing to cooperate with me so I punished her by dragging her into every store in Konoha, so you better be willing to change a little Uchiha" she says as I sigh in annoyance. Outside the window I see Naruto walking with his new sensei around the streets but stops when he sees me in the window. He comes into the little shop and stands next to me with his sensei angrily trailing behind him since he left him.
"Hey, Kazumi. What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be training with your new sensei?" he asks tilting his head in confusion
"We were but she told me if I was going to be her new student I had to change my clothes" I said
"So you have to look good so she can train you? What kind of sensei is she? A crazy one?" he asks
"Hey! I can hear you, you know!" she says popping her head out from behind the door and glares at Naruto
"Sorry 'bout that, but why does she need to change her clothes just to train with you?" he asks
"I love a student who looks good with both fashion and her jutsu style, if they don't have either I need to fix that" she says as if it was obvious
"Unfortunately though since she worries too much about her looks her students leave on her before they even start their training" says the shop keeper
"Naruto! Why did you just leave me like that? We have a lot of work to be doing" says his sensei from behind him
"Sorry pervy sensei but I saw Kazumi through the window and wanted to say hi, she's going shopping for clothes and has to suffer with her new sensei" replies Naruto
"I can still hear you" says Akira angrily
"I'm sure they'll be just fine on their own" he says
"Hey, Uchiha! I need you to try this one on for me" says Akira again shoving clothes in my arms before pushing me into the changing room
"Hehehe, ummm. On second thought, we should stay so we can help these ladies chose a nice outfit" says Jiraiya on the other side of my door
"Pervy sensei, you just wanna see Akira sensei changer her clothes" accuses Naruto
"That is the opposite of what I want, I just want to be a gentleman and help these ladies with a difficult choice in clothing" he says back as I walk out with my new outfit
"Hmmmm, I don't think so. Green doesn't seem like a very good color on you" says the shop lady as I turn back around and change into some of the others she found.

"I don't think so, maybe when you're older but not just yet" says Akira as I change into several different outfits all having the same no answer
"Too much light color, light isn't very good on you"
"Pink? On her? Not a wise choice"
"Not dark enough, and it looks a little too big"
"Not bad, but it doesn't look like something she would be comfortable in"
"Are you kidding me? No! Come on, we gotta tease the boys at least a little. Doesn't show enough skin"
"Too bright for your skin tone"
"No way, you look like a boy in that"
"Shows a little too much skin"
"Not enough accessories" says the shop keeper as we finally looked through all the outfits she found for me
"Some of them were cute, but just not enough" says Akira still looking through the millions of hangers looking for something better
"Well, what's your favorite color?" asks the shop keeper
"Blue or black" I reply
"Then maybe we should limit our search to just looking for---" she was cut off when a loud snore came from Naruto lying on one of the chairs cuddling with a cushion
"Wake up!" screams Akira close to his ear as he jolts awake but still looks groggy. He turns around slowly and looks Akira in the eye and squints his eyes before scrunching up his nose and looks disgusted
"Huh? Hey there ugly" he says and Akira freezes trying to process what he just said
"What did you say brat?!!!" she yells in his face making him wake up and starts panicking trying to explain
"Akira sensei! I--" he was trying to say before he was cut off as he was punched in the face and sent flying out of the building into the streets of Konoha and he crashed into another nearby shop with Akira fuming with rage
"That damned brat!" she curses as "pervy sensei" was staring in shock and backed away from Akira still trying to calm herself down
"I-I uh think it's time for us to be going home don't you think?" he asks shakily
"I suppose you can go home, but we still have lots of work ahead of us" she says turning around going back to the clothes.
"Riiiiiiiiight, lets get going Naruto" he says dragging him out of the rubble
"Akira! I think I found something" the sales person says grabbing her attention
"Lets see it" she says blocking my view from the outfit
"I think this might work, alright. Kazumi, come here" she says and ushers me over
"Try this on, see if it's your size" she says and pushes me into the changing room as I throw on the surprisingly comfy clothes and step out
"I like it, but it needs something" she says rubbing her chin
"Hmmmm, ok lets try doing this" Akira says taking off my headband from my head wrapping it around my waist
"Ok, then lets try adding these bad boys" she says and hands me chains as I hold them in my arms and she takes out my ponytail from my hair as my hair falls to my mid back.
(pretend it's a darker black with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back)
"This is what I'm talking about, we're taking this one" Akira smirks and takes out her wallet grabbing a card and handing it over to the cashier who swipes her card.
"A good choice, but I hope for her sake this is going to be the only time she has to come back shopping with you" she says handing her back her card.
"If they want me to be their sensei they gotta work with whatever I throw at them including shopping" she says putting the card back in her wallet
"Alright, time for training!" she yells pointing out the door in the direction of the training fields
"Ummmm, you do realize it's close to 11 at night right?" the cashier says sweat dropping
"Oh. Well, in that case we have to wait for tomorrow to start training. Alright, meet me at the training grounds at 7 tomorrow morning, and if I'm not there on time go get something to eat because if I'm not there early I'm not gonna wake up until 11" she says waving her hand at me as she exits the shop
"Oh, if you want, I can start working on that fancy sword you got there and I'll get to work on it tomorrow, and it should be back in a few days" she says as I nod my head giving her my katana hesitantly
"Don't you worry about a thing, I'm not gonna break it. Just adjust it to make it even better, I promise I'll take good care of it" she says noticing my expression
"Well, she's most likely going to be late so you might as well sleep in" the cashier says as I sighed in annoyance leaving the shop as the small bell jingles behind me, as I walk down the empty streets of Konoha I start thinking about my new sensei. She's crazy and she likes fashion, but minus those few details I have no idea what to expect from her, I don't even know her chakra nature. She seems like she would be a wind user, but she also has the little spark like lightning nature. But if she's training me then what can I expect from her? She's obviously strong because she was able to drag me out of the hospital without any problems at all and she hit Naruto pretty hard, but I know nothing about her that gives me a sense of what I need to do for our training. She also seems like she would be a little lazy considering what she told me, unless it's not true and she wants to test me, even though she looks like she has a few tricks up her sleeve it only makes me more curious to see what it is.
"Kazumi! Hey, wait up!" I hear a voice behind me, when I turn around I see Sakura jogging over to me
"Hey, I just wanted to check up on you and make sure you're ok. I never got the chance to see you after you woke up, your sensei took you away before anyone could stop her" she says finally catching up to me
"I feel fine, a little sore but that's about it" I say and she nods in understanding
"What about your curse mark? Does it hurt?" she asks and I notice the worry in her eyes as I unintentionally put my free hand over my curse mark
"When I woke up, the pain was pretty bad since Kakashi sealed it for me. But it hasn't given me any major problems so far" I say and she nods in
"Well that's good. Naruto still has no idea you have a curse mark on your neck and Sasuke asked me not to tell him so he won't have to worry but I don't know how much longer I can keep it from him. If he hears he'll be worried, but that means he'll do anything to help you guys" she says
"Sasuke has a good reason to keep it from Naruto, he already worries a lot about us and it would only stress him out more than before and he needs to focus on training for the final phase of the chunin exams. I can't ask him to worry more about us than he probably already is" I say looking at the ground
"Don't tell him Sakura, don't make him worry about us. He has bigger things to think about" I say looking up at her
"Ok, but only if you promise you'll keep an eye on that mark and make sure when you need help you tell us, ok?" she asks and I nod my head
"Well, I should probably get going. My parents are waiting for me to get home, I don't want to be late" she says and I see an old family picture fresh in my mind from before the massacre. With me, Itachi, Sasuke, dad, and mom. It wasn't one of happiest pictures we took, but it was one of the only ones dad agreed to take with us. I felt a small pain in my heart when I think about my old family, they didn't have a chance to live because of what Itachi did. I don't want to blame him and I believe he had a reason for what he did, but I don't know what it is. Then he left us, I know he's still alive. But if I wanted to find him I wouldn't know where to start, there have been sightings but there aren't any patterns. He loved our family so much, but before he killed the clan he became more cold and distant, he didn't want to talk to anyone unless they begged him just to say a simple hello. He killed off everyone in the Uchiha clan besides me and Sasuke, he even killed mom. She was so sweet, and she was an amazing cook, and probably tried her best so everyone was just happy. Even when she was sick, had the worst day of her life, or when dad got mad at her she always kept smiling. Sakura still has her parents, and they still take care of her like she was a child. She has almost anything she could ask for, but she doesn't want anything more than to get Sasuke's attention and get him to notice her. What more does she want?
"Kazumi?" I hear Sakura say waving her hand in front of my face
"Hm?"
"You were spacing out, you didn't hear me. I was saying goodbye" she says looking confused, there's no reason for her to know what I remembered so it's probably best I just went home
"Goodbye" I say turning around heading back home again and I can feel her stare even as I'm leaving. I walked for a while before I finally reach the Uchiha compound and Sasuke's in the kitchen getting a drink of milk. When he sees me in the doorway with a shopping bag of clothes he gives me a confused look knowing very well I hate clothes shopping
"I'm guessing today wasn't a very good day for you huh?" he asks knowing the answer as I nod
"I didn't think it would take you so long to shop that you came home at almost 11:30" he says
"It wasn't my intention to shop at all, but I forced and taken against my will" I say with a tired sigh
"You should probably go to bed, you look pretty tired" he says as I nod my head going up the stairs to my room
"Night" I call out
"Night" I hear Sasuke say back to me as I change into my pajamas and brush my teeth as I wonder even more of what she's going to have me do tomorrow, she's outgoing but she's also still a mystery to me. I can already tell it's going to be hard to train with someone who I don't know, but I'm sure we'll be fine. As long as I don't call her ugly that is. After I spit out the toothpaste in my mouth I trudged to my bed and once my body hit the soft mattress I realized how tired I really was, and when I pulled the covers up to my chest I felt myself slip out of consciousness until I couldn't even hear the creaking of the stairs anymore as I fall asleep exhausted.
