(Kazumi's P.O.V.)
The whole world around me was pitch black and it was hard to figure out where I was, I obviously wasn't brought to the center of my mind or else I would've heard Orochimaru talking to me, even if he wasn't there I would know because I'm not bound by chains and I'm not in any sort of pain specifically speaking. It was just me in the middle of a room with only one single spot of light above me but it wasn't nearly enough to let me see a few feet past my nose, all I could do was sit still and breath in and out hoping to figure out at some point what's happening. The little light that was above me began to flicker but after a few seconds the light went off leaving me in total darkness. About a minute passed and still, nothing happened and I was lost in darkness. Then the lights above me began to flicker on and off again and the entire room was lit up and it was bright. I covered my eyes with my hands to block out the light, it was then I started to feel pain in my wrists. It was burning but the burn in my eyes was burning more, and it was only getting brighter and brighter to the point where it was starting to burn my eyes, even if they were covered by my arm.
"Miss Uchiha? Miss Uchiha?" a female voice called out to me
"I think she's starting to wake up" another male voice added
"Miss Uchiha, I know it might be hard but can you please remove your arms from your eyes for me?" the voice asked as a hand was placed on my arms trying to pull them away but I resisted
"I know it might be hard but can you please open your eyes?" she asks in a sweet voice but I didn't listen to her, she sounded so fake. Somewhat like the feeling if someone wasn't around she would be a total....you know.
"Kazumi, please wake up. I'm sure you might want to see Sasuke wouldn't you?" the male voice says, I can hear the smile in his voice as weird as that might sound. Guy sensei. Wait...Sasuke? Sasuke! I rip my arms away from my eyes and I stare wide eyed at a plain white ceiling with bight lights shining down in my eyes.
"Ah! There she goes, just needed a little motivation is all" Guy laughs, I open my mouth and a rush of cold air enters my mouth and into my lungs but it burned probably more than my eyes and started coughing
"It's alright dear, just breathe in and out, in and out" the nurse tries to help patting my back again with her sickly sweet voice
"I can help her now nurse, you may leave if you want to" Guy sensei says
"Yes sir" she walks out of the room closing the door behind her
"Kazumi. I know you just woke up and it may not be the best time to say it but Sasuke isn't in very good shape, he has a broken arm and he was placed under a powerful genjutsu and still hasn't woken up. Don't get me wrong, we did everything that we could but we can't undo his genjutsu, we have to wait for Naruto to bring back Lady Tsunade. She's a healing expert in the medical field but no one really knows where she is or what she's doing so I can't guarantee she'll be helping Sasuke any time soon without some miracle. He should be just fine though, had I not brought you both here in record time he would've been in worse shape" Guy sensei informs me
"Even if I may have dropped you on your head a little" he also mumbles quickly under his breath and I look at him raising my eyebrow
"What? I said nothing!" he exclaims. I stare him in the eyes blankly and he looks back trying not to break under my gaze
"W-Well..I...I just.. Um" he stutters
"Guy sensei?" I question with a stern voice
"W-Well...um.. while we were rushing to get you and Sasuke back to the hospital I wasn't looking where I was going and tripped over a rock. You crashed into a tree but it didn't do more than just a bump to the head" he explains rubbing his head sheepishly
"So, about Sasuke..." Guy sensei trails off. I don't even wait for him to finish, if he's trailing off that only means something bad happened to him probably adding to his injuries. I fling myself off the bed as the IV drip attached to my wrist was ripped off and I raced down the halls searching for Sasuke. He was in really bad shape when I saw him last, I had to make sure he was alright. Along the way nurses and doctors tried to slow me down and question what I was doing or where I was going but I ignored them and continued to search for Sasuke, his scent was leading me to the third floor and I sprinted up the stairs almost tripping in the process. Finally I came to his room and opened the door. When I opened it Sasuke was lying on his bed breathing slowly and somewhat heavily, there was already a nurse tending to him and checking him for any signs of progress
"You aren't supposed to be in here. Visiting hours are almost over" she tries to shoo me away but I ignore her and walk up to the side of Sasuke's bed not taking my eyes off him
"Beat it! Visiting hours are almost over and we need you back in your room now" she tries again but I again ignore her and stare at Sasuke's sleeping face, the chair beside his bed was untouched so I sat down to get comfortable
"Look, I don't care if you're literally dying to see him but I need you to leave. He needs rest and he doesn't need no brat bothering him while he's trying to heal" her words were nothing to me so I tuned her out as she kept trying to get me to go away. But I couldn't leave Sasuke like this. If I did and something happens it will not only be their fault, but my fault too. Seeing him like this pained my heart, he looked peaceful but beyond that I can tell he's most likely suffering. I know what it's like to be in Itachi's genjutsu and it's not anything pleasant to talk about, the genjutsu I was placed under happened to be the day the clan was killed.
