Chapter 8: Movies...

Riley's P.O.V

<Time skip to the evening>

I got changed into my batman onesie, and left my bedroom to go meet everybody in their pajamas on. We were having a movie night in our pajamas. Conner pouted when he saw me.

"Aww, Conner! Don't worry, you're my superman Conner," I said as I hugged Conner. We walked to the living room.

"Hey guys, so... What movie are we watching?" Conner and I asked in unison.

"We're going to watch 'Tales of Halloween.' Since Halloween is coming up in three weeks' time, we might as well try and watch Halloween movies!" Wally said excitedly as I moved closer to Conner.

Conner and my family only knew that I was absolutely scared of horror movies. The last time I watched a horror movie, I had nightmares for two weeks! Conner gave me a look that told me, that he would stay close to me the entire time.

We all sat on the sofas in the cinema like room. As I sat down next to Conner, Wally and Dick sat behind us. Dick had his 'reasons' and Wally I had no idea.

"Wally?" I had asked. He hummed in response. "Can you tell me why you're sitting behind exactly behind me? Because you usually sit two rows in front of us."

"What? Can't I sit here?" Wally said suspiciously.

"No. You can sit there. But I just wanted to know. Oh and don't try and make me jump, because last time Dick did that I accidently punched his stomach a little bit too hard." I said that as I gave Dick a hug and an apologetic look.

"Was the punch really hard?" Dick nodded franticly.

"Trust me. It was really hard, cause that gave me a buries on my stomach. Even though it was only one punch,"

After Dick said that, the movie started. I shifted myself towards to Conner, and he put his arm over my shoulder.

We were soon halfway through the movie and so far everything was fine. But I knew something was up. I looked behind me and Conner to see that Dick was sleeping on Wally's shoulder and that Wally was asleep. I quickly took a picture. Luckily my phone was on silent and flash was off. Conner wanted to know what I took a picture of. I knew his phone was silent, so I sent him the picture. Conner had to leave the area of ear range, to let out his laughter. But since I had super hearing, I could still hear him. . After what felt like an hour, Conner came back with watery eyes. When he sat down next to me, I instantly moved closer to him.

<Time skip to the end of the movie>

By the end of the movie, I was shivering from fear. Conner hugged me tightly to tell me that he won't leave me till the end. When the credits of the movie finished, my phone went off with a text message.

???=??? & R=Riley

???- Where are you?

By that text, I was creeped out instantly. Conner noticed my sudden movement. He than held me closer than ever before. I wish this moment could last forever. I thought. But my thought were interrupted by another text message.

???- I'll ask again. WHERE are you!?!?

The message caused me to slightly throw my phone upwards and land perfectly land on his lap. Which caused him to wake up. 

"Huh! What was that? Riley? Why is your phone on my lap?" after Dick said that another text was sent to my phone again. 

???- I ASKED YOU TWICE! WHERE ARE YOU!!!

I started crying. Conner polled me closer to his chest. My pungent tears ran down my rosy red cheeks, Wally went to get my dad. When they came back, Conner and I didn't realized they were here. My dad and my father-in-law (Superman a.k.a Clark Kent) I crawled into their arms.Anytime when I was with them or Conner, I felt that I was protected no matter where I was. And I loved that about my family.
