Emily's POV:
After the almost-fight, tensions have been running very high in the group. Clarke walked off with Finn, and Bellamy's winding up Wells, and there's no chance of me making conversation with Murphy, so I just walk alone, enjoying the new scenery, as I haven't been more than ten metres from the drop ship since it landed. It isn't long until we stumble across a river, not the river that Jasper got speared next to, but a smaller stream like river. I run into the water, which is surprisingly warm, and fully submerge myself. The feeling is magical, just floating and swimming by the current. Finn and Clarke are flirting and splashing each other, when I notice a red tinge behind them. Blood.
"Guys look," I shout, pointing at the trail of blood behind them. Clarke turns around and picks up some goggles I didn't notice, Jasper's goggles.
"We're close," Finn points out, for the blood is still wet.
"We need to find the others," Clarke says.
"BELLAMY, MURPHY, WELLS!" I scream in my extremely loud voice.
"What the hell, that won't..." Finn starts, until he sees them running out of the forest.
"What is it?" Wells asks. I point to the trail of blood.
"I think we've found Jasper." I say, smiling. We follow the trail of blood, then Finn, who seems to think he's an expert tracker, until we hear a painful moaning sound. Rushing towards it, we see Jasper tied to a tree, a type of leaf on his wound. Clarke rushed forward, but falls into some sort of hole, luckily, Bellamy grabs her arm.
"Help me pull her up," he exclaims, as we all rush over to help. Once Clarke is up, we conclude that the leaf on his wound is a sort of medicine to keep him alive, so whatever caught him wants live bait. Finn and Murphy are just cutting him down, when we hear a growl and a wild cat like creature comes running at us. Clarke screams for Bellamy to use his gun, when Wells pulls out the gun and starts shooting at the animal, finally killing it just as it is about to kill Bellamy.

Walking back to camp with a dying Jasper and dead wild beast is no fun at all, we're all shaken up, especially Bellamy, who was a second away from having his head ripped off by a giant cat.
"Hey, are you ok?" I ask him, as he hasn't said a word since it happened, which is very unusual for Bellamy.
"I'm fine," he snaps, storming ahead.
"I'm just trying to be nice," I snap back, annoyed by his arrogance.
"Well reality check, this is the ground. Be nice and get killed," He warned, as we come back into view of the camp. The others run ahead, but I stay back, not wanting to face all of the people back at camp, just needing some time alone. I decide to study some more plants, to see if I can find a match to the leaf Jasper had on him, medicine is an important thing to have. I find a few similar leaves and decide to test them out sometime to see if they have any similar properties. I head back to camp to the smell of roasted meat, great, I'm really hungry. However, I notice that there is a line before the meat, and people are taking their wristbands off. I walk over to Clarke.
"Are they seriously making people take their wristbands off for food?" I ask her.
"Seems so," She replies in disgust. I walk over to take some food, but Murphy stops me.
"I still see a wristband," he smirks.
"What happened to 'Whatever the hell we want'?" I ask him, smiling.
"Listen, Emily, if you want food, you take that wristband off. It will come off at some stage anyway." he says. I turn to Bellamy,
"Bellamy, I was there when we caught it!" I exclaim. He just gives me a sarcastic pitiful look.
"Sorry, no exceptions," He sighs. I pull the finger at him and storm off, looking for an edible plant to eat. I strip the bark off one of the edible trees I found, and chew on that. Compared to the chemically preserved food on the ark, its almost nice, but I know it wont have much nutrition. There's only one choice, I have to hunt something myself. I'm not sure whether using a poisoned knife to kill an animal will make its meat poisonous, so I take out the non poisoned one, and run far as far away from the camp as I dare. I heard from Clarke that she saw a two headed deer earlier, so there must be more animal life then we first expected. Unfortunately for me, I've never been very strong or fast, my brain being my biggest asset. As it turns out, books can only get you so far when it comes to hunting animals. I must have been hunting for an hour when I finally gave up, however, I notice something growing on a nearby bush. Once I push back a few leaves, I am greeted with a blackberry bush! Hungry from all my work, I shove a few in my mouth, then decide to create a bag out of leaves and tree sap. Its hard work, but there's no chance of me falling asleep, and having spare food could benefit me, if I can't trade my wristband for food, people will get sick of just meat, and I know how to find other things to eat in the wild. Once I've made a few small leaf bags and sorted out my bark, flowers and berries, I head back to the camp, pleased at my discovery, however, being far away, I soon get lost. Deciding to camp out for the night, I find a comfortable patch of moss, and fall asleep.

Bellamy's POV:
Though I would never admit it, I feel kind of bad refusing to give Emily any meat, as she did help us kill it. When I fell asleep last night, I'd even wondered if I should go give her some meat, but decided against it. I hear a shout and see Clarke walking up to me, a worried look on her face.
"Bellamy, have you seen Emily? She walked off last night and no-one's seen her since." My heart sinks. Emily had stormed off after I refused to give her food, and being late at night, she must have got lost.
"No, but I'm sure she's fine, I've never seen anyone as good with plants and survival as her." I reply. In the distance, I hear a scream, and me and Clarke turn around in shock.
"EMILY," Clarke screams, running out in the direction of the scream.
"Clarke stop! It could be dangerous," I shout, but Clarke keeps on running, so I decide to follow her. We run in the same direction for about ten minutes, but suddenly, Clarke stops and looks down in horror. I follow her gaze, and see what she's looking at. A black bag. I know in an instant who it belongs to, but Emily's no where to be seen.
