I sat here in this rock near the lake. Toothless hanged himself upsidedown and rested. I drew the nightfury, just the way I did before. I smiled, continuing the drawing.

Astrid sat beside me. "Hey Hic, what cha' doing?" she asked softly. I smiled and gently shook my head. "Nothing . . ." I said softly. I erased my drawing and got up, Toothless on the other hand, got down from the branch.

Astrid swayed her axe and placed it on her shoulder. Stormfly landed beside her. I moved closer to her, she groaned and rolled her eyes. "I always hate the fact that you're quite taller than me." she teased.

"Nothing changed." I replied. Toothless's eyes got smaller, you know, dragon instincts. I ducked and rolled away. Red paints splashed on the spot I was standing before. "What on Oden's name?" Astrid exclaimed turning her head back.

A few more tried to hit me, but none suceeded. Of course, I tried to roll pass it. I got up and grinned. "Give up you guys! You can never hit me!" I called. Snoutlout, Ruffnut and Tuffnut showed up from above, hiding and lurking behind the bushes and the tree.

"We will, just, not today!" Ruff exclaimed. They jumped onto their dragons and landed near astrid and I. She looked around with an eye brow raised up. "Where's Fishlegs?" she asked.

"He's sick from eating those all those Cheese from yesterdays fiest." Tuff explained. Astrid closed her eyes and shook her head slowly with her hands placed on her forehead. "Aye." she said quietly.

"Lets head back to town. Its getting dark." I requested. Astrid punched me jokingly on my arms. "Oh, come on Hiccup! A few years before you were a wimp and now you've become a man-" "And got over puberty!" Snoutlout added.

"So lets enjoy life and race down the seas!" she said. I shook my head as I got on toothless. "Astrid, I am the chief of Berk now. I have to face my responsibilities first." i told them. They frowned.

Slowly headed on their dragons and flew to the seas. "You could always come if you want to. Meet us in the shore, thats where the race will start. It'll end in Dragon Island. Around 6:30." Astrid said.

I smiled, "I'll catch up with you guys later, dont worry." I replied as I flew back to berk.

On my way, I helped Huggerd carry his sheep and helped Merny get her baby groncle down her roof, Toothless and I to be exact. Sometimes after the sun has set, Toothless and I headed home for supper.

Gobber was there, playing Selven's Game with Poutlout. (Its like chess but only that its flat and has carvings of dragons on its upper surface.) I placed my helmet on the hook and sat down the table.

"Good evenin' hiccup! Care to play?" Gobber invited. I smiled and shook my head, "No thanks" I refused as I nibbled on my turkey leg and drunk my orange juice.

Mom on the other hand, went in. "Hiccup," she smiled, walking pass the door carrying a basket of fish. She placed in on the table, just in time I finished eating. I swallowed once more and drank on water until mom started talking.

"I heard the elder needs some herbs." She started. I turned to her and I throwed a salmon into Toothless' mouth. "Really, what kind?" I asked.

"Forestdust,"

I gasped and arched an eyebrow "Those kinds you get in-"

She nodded, "Outcast Island, yes." she answered. "But do be careful." she added. I shot a smile and I got on Toothless again and flew out of Berk. I passed the shores on the way but it was empty.

I tried to fly around a certain area in Outcast Island, but at least there's no sign of anyone. I finally flew to Alvin's lair, only finding out no sign of him. Of course there were about, only 2 of his men guarding the place.

It was so mysterious why. Curiousity filled me. I took a turn to fly to his lair first instead of picking up the herbals.

But as Toothless hid in the blankets of the night, we were in seen.

I hopped out of Toothless and slowly walked to his table. Tons of papers were filed in mountains. My eyes scanned on it, but only 1 finally caught my attention.

Scotland the map says, as I dagger was shot passed the map into the table in the place of McGuffin, right across the Kingdom of DunBroch.

I pulled the dagger out, realizing in has blood in it. I quickly moved it aside in shock, but Toothless selflesly licked the bloody dagger on the floor. I got the paper and a piece of rag on the floor to cover up the dagger, and brought it along with me as I headed to Dragon Island, where the gang is.

When I arrived, Astrid was there, sitting peacefully with Stormfly. She glared at me and faked a smile, "You're 2 hours late, if you ask me."

I kept my mouth shut and raised my elbows stiffly. Toothless quivered his body and shook his tale, leaving the dagger fallen down. She gasped as Stormfly quickly ran tothe dagger and sniffed it.

She narrowed her eyes and walked onwards, to it. While my heart beats faster, I was anxious. I don't even know what to say. "Look, I-I can explain." I said, trying to stop her walking nearer.

But she slowly shove my hands away to continue walking. Stormfly shrieked and Astrid knows what's going on. "Heather?" she gasped, picking up the piece of cloth, only descovering a dagger inside.

She touched the sharp blade and felt the blood upon her hand. She gasped and turned to me, "Hiccup, what have you done..." she questioned in shock.

"Astrid, " I said, reaching out a hand to explain for a while. But she pushed it away and shook her head. "What have you done..."

Her silhouette disappeared through the moon as she flew away, her questions un answered. I gritted my teeth and threw the dagger away. Just a second before Snoutlout and the twins decided to show up, with their dragons, racing through the skies, not stopping by me at all.

Toothless frowned as we followed flew miles aftet them. As I entered the door, mom smiled as I emotionlessly handed her the plants. "So, how's the race lad?" Gobber asked, standing up to making cracking sounds of his back bone.

I frowned and looked down, "I just missed it." I said. When I was all in my nightwear and was all ready to go to bed, another thing dropped from my clothes that I have worn earlied today.

The map.

I quickly grabbed it and rolled it open in my table. I narrowed my eyes to examine it. What could this mean?
