¤Beyond the Falls¤

I slowly opened my eyes. I moaned and rubbed my head as I tried to sit up. "She's awake." a girl whispered.

I looked around as a group of kids about my age tried to circle me. I groaned and sat up.

"W-"

"Hi, we are the Scottish Shadows 743 ...!!" A boy greeted. The greeting was followed by a wack of his head.

"Shh!!" a girl exclaimed. "Remember what Zenera told us!!" she whispered to his ears angrily. The others nodded, there were like, 5 of them: 2 girls ; 3 boys.

"Yeah, she's gonna kill us!" Another one added.

I shook my head off the web of thoughts to wake me up. "All I'm asking is where am I !" I yelled.

Everyone stopped and stared at me. "Oh, you're in our hide-out. Through the falls." The boy answered again.

The girl face palmed herself and moaned in annoyance. "Who are you guys?" I asked again.

"I'm Roudolf." (boy

"I'm Reney." (girl)

"I'm Thyler." (boy)

"I'm Sandler." (boy)

"I'm Dotrine." (girl)

I nodded and stood up as I walked out their entrance. "Hey, where are you going?" Thyler asked.

"Thank you for your warm welcome guys but really, I have to go now." I explained.

As soon as I opened the door, I came face to face with a girl, like a year older than me. She glared at me. Her nostrils were about to winden.

"Oh no. Zenera." Dotrine whispered to Sandler as Reney nodded slowly.

Zenera faced the others furiously.

"Who is she?! And what is she doing in our hide-out?!" she exclaimed. Roudolf let out a whistle, he puts his hands behind his back and his eyes wandered, to avoid meeting Zerena's.

"She's ugh," Reney muttered.

"Merida, Merida DunBroch." I introduced.

Everyone gasped, but Zenera kept a straight face, with her eyes widened a bit.

"She's the princess?!" Roudolf exclaimed. They ran to me and asked be different kinds of questions.

I could barely breath, I tried to gasp for air, since they all were chocking me for the stupid questions.

Zenera was annoyed about their behaviour. "Stop!!" she shouted, the same time another boy went in the door.

He was like a year older than her, or was he just taller? Well, I guess they're just the same age. He raised his arms and smiled teasingly. "Lass, calm down." he teased.

She moaned and rolled her eyes. "Get a grip of yourself Vincent." she says, walking away.

He met me eye to eye. Oh his hazel brown eyes watching me, and his light brown hair. His smile was sweet.

"Hey." he smirked.

I was caught in a delema, like what should I say?! I my eyes widen and my mouth opened abit. I was speechless.

"H-hey." I replied. Great Merida, you looked like Jack Frost, surprised when a mortal first sees him and believes.

"I'm Vincent." He said, reaching out a hand for me to shake. Oh his skin was soft.

"So, What's your name?" he asked.

"Mer-mer-mhh" I muttered.

"Mermer?" He was confused, he raised his brows with a cute smile.

"Dude, she's Princess Merida!!" Thyler interrupted.

He turned back to me. "Really?"

I smiled in a shy manner. "Well, I don't really consider myself, cause I do archery and all and- well yeah I'm a princess."

"Woah, you do archery too?"

"Yeah," I blushed, curling my hair behind my ear. I swear this is so unlike me.

"You must've been kidding me.." Zenera moaned.

She was sitting down on a ragged couch, made from a tiger's skin. She placed her feet out the couch.

"Oh. Zenera is jealous." Sandler teased.

"Shut up."

"No, Vincent no!! Dont leave me. I love you." Roudolf added, immitating an actual lady voice boys do.

A dagger shot by his snout, pinning out a picture of the English Military leader even more, causing it much more damaged by the looks.

"Okay, I'll shut up." Roudolf said sincerely.

"Oh, um Vincent, I think I have to get going." I excused myself out.

His smile faded away. I walked out, and looked back. "It's been a pleasure meeting you guys!" I said.

"Wait, will we meet again?" Vincent asked.

My heart skipped a bit. This is it. this might be the love mother has been telling me about. But-

No Merida. You're not really in love!! Are you?

A shade of red appeared in my cheeks. Damn you Vincent.

"Let's see." I said as I ran back to the tree house. I hit angus's chest and I fell to the ground.

He let out a horse laugh. 2x annoying than the human laugh. I moaned and got up. "Angus, you wont believe who I just met!"
