Till the next day, I examined the map closely, keeping a keen eye on it. Toothless settled beside me. My eyes grew bigger. Grinned a bit but was lost. I know exactly where this is going.

Mom knocked and went in with breakfast in her hands. I smiled fakely as she grinned. She placed the tray down my bed and walked to me, by the table.

"Oh, what is that Hiccup?" she asked, leaning forward for a greater view. I looked up to her, "It's a map," I paused fot a bit and tilted my head to the right as part of my natural gestures of being Hiccup. "I uh, found it in Outcast Island, right on Alvin's table." I explained.

Her eyes widened as she tried to move her way passed through me to have a better view of the map herself. She ran her fingers through an area of the map and turned to me. "So what are you planning to do?" she asked softly.

"Go there and warn them." I replied.

She gasped and stood up, slowly helding my face up through the lower side of my cheeks, her eyes were teary as she shook her head. "I might lost him," she started.

"And he might be alive, but I may never found him again," she said as she voice faded through that last part, "And I may never allow you to go on those lands, because I don't want to lose you too Hiccup."

Who is he?

I tried to avoid meeting her by eyes her eyes. I shook my head as I looked down. "I have to," I whispered.

"It's their fight, why would you want to go?" she asked.

"Mom, it is our fight! Because think about it, no matter whose chief comes, they are known as Vikings, no exception. And if Alvin keeps the attack, the Vikings are proven once more to be the bad guys. But we're not! We've lived in peace not minding them in the last 80 years, and-" she hushed me down.

She shook her head and slowly walked to the window. "It wasn't that long time ago we had an issue with the Scottish army," she explained. I narrowed my eyes and walked towards her. "What do you mean it wasn't a long time ago?" I questioned.

She snuffled and wiped down the fresh tears that just have dropped down her eyes. "23 years Hiccup, they've been here and I lost him"

I narrowed my eyes, "Lost who?" I asked, sincerity rising inside of me. "Your brother . ." she whispered.

I gasped and smiled, "This is amazing! Where is he?" I asked, looking around. "I-Is he in the dragons' nest with you? Somewhere?"

She shook her head and cupped my face again, same as her expression dropping cold, "I lost him," she snuffled. I locked my lips in realization, "Oh, um, I'm sorry mom."

She faked a smile while she wiped her tears away, "It's okay," she sighed.

"Mom, do you trust me on this?" I asked. She kept quiet, her head tilted down. "It's crazy, you'll get killed!" she says.

"And that's what he said," I told her looking up dad's giant statue. She looked up and said, "But in the end, he'll be proud.." we both said in unision.

She smiled and walked out, as she grabbed the horn and blew it as she stepped outside. The people all gathered up, before she spoke.

"Now we all know what the Scottish are and what they did us." she paused, "-And this conflict has never been solved for a hundred year! Now, it's our time to settle this down. We think as each other as enemies, but we never had a war against them for a long time! We never did something about it! But now, now is the time to end it."

When I stopped, the crowd began to whisper and gossip. But how?! a citizen questioned.

I face palmed myself. Mother smiled. "Through Hiccup." she pointed. "Now he said that Alvin was going to Scotland, bringing a hundred men with him. If we could warn them, our conflict might be solve. This plan might not be enough and it might be impossible. But it might also be the answer."

The crowd looked at themselves and nodded. They slowly agreed. They cheered for mom and for me.

As the sun settled down, and the moon and the stars clustered in the sky, a fiest was held to celebrate. Who wouldn't say yes to mom?

They began to fire dance. The gang was also there. The bond with each other but Astrid was alone on the table. They approached me, but again, except Astrid.

"Are you really going to do it Hiccup?" they asked. I nodded, "Yes," I answered. "I'll come with you." fishlegs offered. I smiled and nodded. "We might also come." Tuffnut added, bringing forth Snoutlout.

"Yeah I could come too." Ruffnut said but her twin brother shove her face away. "But Hiccup, what if something goes wrong and out of plan?" Fishlegs worried. I brought out my sheild, the one with the weapon and a dragon's crest in it.

From a sheild, it can transform into a crossbow. "Thats why we got this." I said. They grinned. "Wait, you made some for us too, did you?" snoutlout asked. I nodded, "But I only made two extras."

"Wait you're going to fight when needed?" Ruffnut questioned out loud. Astrid almost spit her drink out, but she quickly swallowed it. "You'll do what?!" she exclaimed. "Got a prpblem with it?" Tuffnut replied sarcasticly.

She swinged her axe by her shoulder. "I'm coming," she said. I shook my head. "No,"

"Why not? I have the freedom to do my will."

"Astrid this is my quest as a chief." I pointed to my self. "And if I carry this shield, I won't be carry Berk, but the whole Viking history."
