Hiccup's POV

I yawn and stretched my arms. My vision was improving, little by little every second. It was a surprise to have found food ready to be eaten. I looked around to see anyone.

Most of them were in the branches of tree, still lying down and snoring. Most of them, except Tuffnut. I have been surprise to see him like this. He leaned on the tree and stared at me.

I sat down a log and ate the food, but still sparing them most of it. "Been awake, aye Tuff?" I asked, while I chewed on it.

"Hiccup,"

"What . . ?"

"Have you ever wondered why, Vincent has never asked us the reason why we're here?"

"Tuffn-"

"No, I will not let you stop me from listening to my guts, again." he said.

I moaned and rolled my eyes. "Can you not listen?"

"Hiccup, have it ever entered you mind, why he never ever asked about where we came from ?"

      "Or about who were really are?"

    "Doesn't he ever feel cautious or curious about us suddenly being wiped out in their shores? Don't you ever feel cautious about the questions.he.never.asked?!?!" he exclaimed.

I gasped and leaned back. I have never seen him like this my entired life. He has going about this issues for the past few days and I should be starting to worry if Tuffnut's really pointing out something.

He sat down and rubbed his forehead, looking down. I went foward and patted his shoulder. But he just shook my hand away.

   "L-look I'm sorry." I apologized.

        "You should be, they killed a hundred of us..." He said in a low voice.

I gasped as my eyes widened. I shook my head in shock and ran away.

I couldn't believe it. Vincent was one of the Scottish rebelion agaisnt the Vikings. Although as far as I've remembered, Dad said that the war was a month later I've been born, and I think that Vincent couldnt possibly join the war at the age of two or one.

Or maybe he has joined a different war perhaps? I wouldn't know.

I continued running until I find myself, stumbling upon bushes and rocks. Until I found Vincent and Merida, hanging out and doing some archery.

And from distance, I could she a girl with brown hair, just my age, or a bit older, spying on them behind the bushes.

I slowly walked towards her, in a tiptoe kind of manner. Merida and Vincent were so busy laughind and enjoying and they couldn't seem to notice me at all. So does the girl, I think.

I sat down behind her, and by my surprise, she turns around, pointing a dagger upon my nose. "State your business." she said.

I held up my hands, about my shoulders kind of high and stared at the shiny dagger. Oh my.

"I-I'm not gonna hurt you." I explained. She pulled me close. I could feel her warm minty breath touch my chin. "What is your name?" she whispered.

I shut my mouth and took a deep breath. Not this again. "Hi-hi-Horrendous." I answered with a confused tone.

She wrinkled upon her nose and looked at me in the eye. "Look, I don't know know who you are-" she started, "But I just said my name!" I mumbled, "-Nor what you're doing. But if you try to screw this up, you're dead." She warned me.

I took a deep breath and quickly nodded. I wasn't thinking twice. If I would scream right now, no one would hear me, except Merida and Vincent, which is the problem, bacuse if I screw this up, she'll kill me. And, I'm miles away from the gang, plus, they won't hear me, due of my conclusion that they're still asleep, except Tuffnut, and I am sure that he is in no mood to help me out right now.

She gave me a sharp smile. "Good." she snapped, letting me loose. In which it was unexpected and my motion have quickly bounced through the air, pushing myself away from her and forgetting there was a tree behind me.

My back bounced agaisnt the tree and then, I accidentally hit her. She did a little squeek before we could ever pass through the bush, and she had landed on her back while I was atop.

I looked into her eyes at first, and I looked right, to where Merida and Vincent are. Their jaws dropped, and eyes were widened.

This.is.AWKWARD.
