Hiccup's POV
"Horrendious what are you doing?" Merida questioned. I gasped and quickly got up. Or as I say it, the girl pushed me away so I just have to go with the flow.
I took a deep breath and looked away as I ran my hands through my hair and just avoid meeting their eyes. I could see Merida though from the corner of my eyes.
She was cheeky before she could blow up with laughter. I sighed, embarrased. "I-I could explain. !" I tried to offer. She hold onto her feet and grinned.
"W-what?" she said, wiping her tears away. The girl turned to her and flashed her eyes, giving her the death glare that could send shivers, even into an Alpha's spine.
Merida stood still and held her breath, while I stood there, emotionless. Vincent walked to her "Zenera?" he grinned playfully.
She rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. "Oh please." she muttered. He moved behind her and held her shoulders. She stood still though, even when his hands have moved up to her face.
Merida walked near me and watched the scene of Vincent and Zenera. Vincent poked her skin softly and moved his fingers higher, forcing her to smile.
"They do make a cute couple." I whispered to Merida. She chuckled and smiled slowly. Vincent moved his head near her ear slowly. "Cheer up and smile!" he teased.
Zenera grunted and shove his face away. "You're hopeless!" she says, with an accent less deeper than Merida. Vincent just laughed and watch her go mad.
I turned my head to Merida, which is having a lip locked emotion. I opened my mouth to start a less awkward situation. "So, do you know the king an-" I started, but she turned me and interrupted.
"So, how did you stumble upon her?" she asked. I rubbed the back of my neck and looked at Vincent and Zerena trying to catch each other. One is mad and one is just uncontrollably laughing. You could guess which is which.
"Oh ah.. I . . . was just . . . when," I mumbled. I just cant choose the right words after this. She arched an eye brow and gave me a one sided smile. "What?" she chuckled.
I locked my lips together and quickly took a look from Zenera. "Blame her." I quickly pointed. She rolled her eyes and walked away with a smile. "Men, are all the same." she said quietly.
She turned back to me and did some gestures with her index finger. "But at least you're not like my suitors." she added, before bending down to get her stuff.
"You have suitors?" I teased. She snorted and gave me a serious look. "Ya think." She said, annoyed.
"Well, you have a bow . . ." I started again.
"Obviously!"
"For what? A girl with a dress doesnt seem fit for it."
"Very funny Horrendious."
I rolled my eyes, "My name sounds weird, really." I muttered. Even weirder than the real one, honestly.
"Yeah, you seem to fit the kinds of names that could scare up Trolls!" she teased, chuckling a bit. I smiled for another insult coming from me.
"Say what you want bu-" I warned her. She didnt listen but instead she. turned to Vincent and called, "Training is over for today!" She called.
He sobbed and groaned. "But you didnt even let a single arrow fly yet!" He replied. She chuckled and got up, wearing her bow around her shoulders and chest. "I did when I hit a bird for bird for breakfast!"
She walked to the forest and left me behind. I took second thoughts before following her though, or rather catching up, for Thor's sake. I looked back to Vincent, which doesn't seem very focused at all.
I took a deep breath and ran to her. She smiled ahead. "I knew you would catch up." she said twisting her tongue because of her accent.
I had the lip locked kind of face again before I could exhale. "Oh.. ah, I need a . . . tour around!" well, that was pretty stupid.
She jumped, "I knew you didnt come from here!" she exclaimed. I raised my hands up, shoulder level and sighed in defeat. "It could explain the clothes in the first place!" I said.
"Well, Vincent's gang werent wearing our traditional clothes, so I thought you're one of them." she explained. "He have a gang?" I asked in surprise. She raised her shoulders and tilted her head to her right shoulder.
"Well not really. Since Zenara is their leader."
"If that's the case I have a gang too." I spilled out. Oh Thor, I made the wrong move. She stop for a while. "Wait, is it Zenera or Zenara?" I asked. She turned to me and raised her shoulders again. "Either ways, I dont really care." she laughed.
We stood by a tree house, ironically near the big the I and the guys are staying. She dropped her bag and jumped up a big branch where she could lie on.
"Where are you from anyway?" she asked.
I gasped and looked around, I pointed at myself. "M-me?" I questioned, startled. Like I said, trust no one. She chucked and patted me at the back and said "Hah, I don't know either."
I slowly held her hand and placed it away from my shoulder. "Well, I came from another, uh, Kingdom! Ah, yes . . . I-I'm from clan, uh, Haddock?" I answered, confused.
She chuckled once again, "Well, yer' a clumsy lad." she said, making herself confortable lying down as she placed a heavy cloth covering her eyes.
"Uh, yeah, I was the runt, of the family . . ." I said quietly, while rubbing the back of my neck as my eyes wandered around, mostly looking down the ground.
She quickly tried to sit up, but instead she just rolled herself aside, causing herself to fall right into the ground. But she tried to stand up again and smile, "Me too!" she exclaimed.
My jaws dropped and slowly, my lips formed a smile. "Really, like h-how?!" I asked, jumping in excitement. "I turned my mum into a bear." She answered, gritting her teeth together to form a completely weird downward grin.
She looked up at me again and raised her arms up high, shoulder length. "Hey, it's no big deal. Almost everyone knows about it." she chuckled.
I smiled, "Well, if that's a case, I captured a dragon!" I said accidentally. I locked my lips together and shut my eyes close to realise what I've done.
Instead of hearing her scream and all. She just stood there for a second and laughed. "A dragon, really?" she teased.
"At least I could do better than a bear." I replied.
She calmed down and chuckled once more, as she wiped her tears of laughter away. "Okay, I believe ye' " she said, patting my back.
My eyes widened for a second but then I quickly pushed her slightly in a fake teasingly manner. "I was just kidding . . " I added, with a bit of sweat dripping from the side of my forehead.
