Recap: Wren starts to sit back up but then she screams out in pain. Her body is engulfed in a bright beam of light and all three, Gray, Ian and Van are thrown far away from her body, crashing into the walls of the jet. They scramble to their feet, running to their mate as her screams continue to echo through the hold. They can't touch her. The light that is keeping her from their sight, is also keeping her from their touch. Every time they touch it, the light burns their flesh. They still try to step through that burning force field, willing to take on any pain if it will help her in any way. But as they press forward it is as if there is a wall made of steel surrounding her, that no power can penetrate. Only the sounds of her pain and feeling her through the link let them know that she is still alive. They cry out in frustration, anger and fear. What if something horrible happens? They wished to take her pain on themselves. They never wanted her to hurt. They called out to her, doing all they could to try and comfort her, to let her know that they were near, that they would never leaver her side.

Two hours. Two hours go by before her cries stop. The silence is deafening. The silence is frightful. They still can't see their mate and now there is no sound. They feel the slight tingle of her mind still linked to theirs but it feels weak. They try once more to get passed that burning light. This time as they press forward it is only hot, not scorching. With a slight ray of hope they walk forward. Once all three have stepped in to the force field and press against the wall the light disappears. They could see the light shrinking, being drawn into the center. Once the light has shrunk enough they see that it is flowing into Wren. Her body is absorbing its essence, taking it in to herself. They fall to their knees around her. Desperately they touch her and they are overjoyed that she is still breathing and her pulse is strong. Her eyes are shut and they call out to her, hoping for her to wake, for her to be okay.

She is still. They kiss her lips softly and whisper their love. She starts to shake. She looks to be having a seizure and they are once more scared for her life. Her body continues to convulse and then suddenly her eyes snap open. Her opal like eyes are now glowing with swirls of gold, silver and red. Her back arches at an impossible angle as she screams once more. They watch helplessly as her body contorts and twists. Her skin shivers and writhes as they can see their marks converge together at the center of her chest. There is an explosion of light and they can feel an enormous wave of energy swirling through the air. Her hair blows about as if she is in the midst of a tornado and she lifts into the air. Her arms are stretched out, her body is now in a standing position and they see with shock that her feet are no longer on the floor.

All at once it ended. The light retreated into her body, her tremors ceased, and the wind ceased. She fell to her knees, her hands limp at her sides. They tentatively came forward, afraid that some action on their part would start this torture once more, but unable to sit there and not offer her comfort. As one they reached forward and caressed her skin. Gray cradled her to his chest, Ian pressed in on her other side, while Van held her head in his hands. He gently smoothed her wild hair away from her face, uncovering her from their view.

Her eyes are still glowing and her expression is serene. She smiles sweetly. "I love you." She whispers. Her eyelids flutter closed for just a moment before they open once more and staring deep into their eyes, she shows them what happened while she was engulfed in light. "My God!" They exclaim as they look at one another in confusion. "How is this possible?" Ian asks with worry tinging his voice.

"It's alright." Wren smiles. "I know everything will be fine." She stands to her feet and embraces each of them with a deep kiss. "Would you like me to show you?" She asks with joy in her eyes.

She stands back at their approval. A soft breeze flutters through her hair and a dim glow shimmers over her skin. The three men gasp in shock and amazement. "You're so beautiful." They state in awe.
