"Okay my Angel. To release your wings it is the same process as concealing them, just envision them coming out from your back and unfurling behind you." Van instructs her patiently as he holds her hands. They are outside in a clearing several yards from the house. The warm air is caressing her bare skin. Van insisted that it is much easier to learn without clothing in the way of the wings.

Wren closes her eyes and does as he says. She imagines broad wings with dark brown nearly black feathers. She sees them spreading out to either side of her. She opens her eyes, certain that she succeeded only to be disappointed to find herself as she always has been.

"Now, do not stress out if it is difficult to do. It will probably be easier for you to retract them as it reverts you to the natural state that you are used to." Van squeezes her hands gently. "I will bring out my wings. Maybe that will help you."

Wren nods eagerly, watching as his golden wings come out. They are huge. If he spreads them out they go past his arms at nearly twice their length. When he has them folded the arch, what would be the elbow of an arm only for wings, goes up past his head by about a foot. The tips of his wings trail on the ground and make her worry. "Does it hurt you?"" She runs a gentle hand down the soft feathers, watching them shimmer in the sun. At his quirked brow, she clarifies. "When they drag against the ground, does it hurt you?"

"No Angel. It is only the feathers that reach that far, they are a bit like the hair on your head. No sensation on their own but you can feel if they are moved or touched to an extent by the effect it places on the root." She nods in understanding and comes back around to face him.

Before she closes her eyes to try again she leans forward and kisses his mark. Smiling at him, "I love you Van."

"I love you too Wren." He leans forward and kisses her softly on the lips and then on each of her closed eyelids. "Try to clear you mind of any distracting thoughts and imagine your wings. I will try to paint a picture in your head, to help you along." She nods.

"Okay Angel. Your wings are a deep reddish brown the same as your hair. The feathers are long and light with a faint shimmer of silver peeking out from their shafts. The feathers closest to your body are nearly black and they get lighter as they travel to the tips of your wings. They have a more delicate look to them then my own, fitting with your dainty features. They are half again as long as your arms and look as if they are wide enough to wrap around your body to protect and conceal."

Wren takes in his words and sees them in her mind. She feels a tingling sensation on her upper back and she hears his gasp causing her to open her eyes. He has a bright smile lighting his face and he reaches around her to hug her. One arm along her waist and the other over her shoulders. "You did it sweetheart!"

Her eyes glow happily coordinating well with the smile on her face. She nestles her cheek against his smooth chest hugging him back with arms around his waist. The feel of his warm skin, covering his hard muscles, pressed against her breast brings a shiver of pleasure down her spine. Van groans at the feel before reluctantly moving back. With his hands on her shoulders and his eyes glowing silver he admires her beauty.

She looks up at him her own eyes traveling over his form. He can read the want on her face and it is all he can do to keep from fulfilling her desire. "Not yet Angel."

She pouts up at him with large eyes, "I just want a little kiss. Please Van."

He bites his lip with a groan and closes his eyes. "If I start, even with just a kiss, I won't be able to stop until we are both fully and completely satisfied."

She gives him a wide, happy grin. "Sounds good to me."

His nostrils flare and his eyes heat. He quickly captures her lips in a passionate kiss. After a few seconds of heavenly pleasure, he pulls back. With foreheads touching and panting breaths mingling he evades her searching lips. She makes a small mew like sound of disappointment. His voice is husky, "Sorry sweetheart. I really, and I mean REALLY, want to continue this but soon the frenzy will start again and want will become a desperate need. During the short times that the frenzy is muted we need to teach you about your new forms." He gives her a gentle peck to help soften his news before backing away.
