Astrea's POV

I was walking out toward the Quidditch Field where the Elder Training class was being held.

I walked in and saw I'd happen to be the last one to walk in.

I looked around to see where the professor was but my eyes only met Dombledore's sparkling ones,

"Wait, you are our Elder Training Professor?" I asked confused.

"Yes, I may not be an actual Elder, but some past generations of mine were and my animagi happens to be a dragon as well. That, and, amongst all the professors there are, none know nearly as much information as I, if I do say so myself." He smiled and looked up at the class.

"I believe we've got some variety here, right?"

I looked at all of them.

We were all a fairly small class, only being twenty four, counting me in.

"Okay, very well. Let us all start."

I sat at one of the benches and he started up again,

"By a show of hands how many of you have gotten to the stage of growing wings?"

I looked amongst the crowd and noticed everyone's hand up, except mine. I looked down and blushed slightly.

"Very well, now, who has mustered a full transformation?"

Fewer hands shot up, but most did, including all my siblings', the twins, and the Ravenclaw girl.

It was just me, the White triplets, Ravenclaw guy, and the first year.

"Okay, for today I'll only need the ones who have mustered their complete transformation to try and help the ones who haven't. Astrea, you come with me." Everyone scattered around and I followed Dombledore to a secluded part of the field that wasn't too far from the others.

"Ok, Astrea, today we are going to try and get your wings out. This is very much like casting a Patronus. You'll have to use your happiest memory, and it has to be a very strong one at that. Let us try."

I let out a deep breath and scanned through my thoughts. I thought about when I first met my siblings and how I felt less lonely for once, it felt... It felt amazing, too... Unreal.

I closed I eyes and consentrated on the memory, a small smile tugging on my lips.

I suddenly felt something tickling at my back and many gasps.

I opened my eyes and looked around.

Everyone was staring at me mouths gaping,

"You've done it, Astrea! That was wonderful!" Exclaimed Dombledore, a small smile tugging on his lips.

I grinned, taken a back. I actually did it!

"Your wings are... Beautiful." The Ravenclaw girl, Rose Glow, whispered at me.

"How so?"

Suddenly the White trips conjured a foot long mirror.

"Look and you'll find how so." One of the twins, Meadow I believe, said.

I looked in and noticed my wings. They were a bright white and where wide and big, they had some colors at their tips running along them but they kept changing and when I looked closer, I noticed my hair changing at the tip's colors too.

"Why are my hair and wings changing from blue and orange?" I ask out loud.

Dombledore smiled, "Darling, you are a Metamorphmagus."

That only confused me more.

"That means that your hair and apparently your wings change their color by what you are feeling and your emotions."

He looked at the rest of the class,

"Class dismissed." Everyone broke out talking and left the field.

"Now, Miss Devine, you may head to Madam Pomfrey. She will give you a chart with what each and every color your hair or wings turn and their meaning. Good day." And with that he apparated to what I'm guessing was his office.

I walked inside and to the castle's nursery, where Madam Pomfrey seemed to be waiting for me with the chart on a piece of parchment,

"Now Honey, I charmed this parchment so that only you will be able to read it. For privacy reasons, now I've got to go work on some potions and paperwork. You best be going, dinner's starting up in about five minutes." With that she scurried off and I left to go to the Great Hall.

On the way I decided to look over at the chart.

Silver- Anger

Dark Blue- Amazement

Orange- Confusion

Light, Dull Green- Sadness

Dark Green- Jealousy

Pink- Blush

Purple- Deep Love

Gold- Outmost Happiness

Red- Annoyance

White- Extreme Fright

Yellow- Confidence

Black- Lie

Light Blue- Honest to the Heart

Well, that's nice, now I'm practically as readable as a book. Though, there is no way I'm telling anyone at all about the chart. They'll kill me for it.

I stuffed the piece of parchment into my pocket and entered The Great Hall. I noticed that almost everyone was here, so I decided to go to the Gryffindor table and say hello to my friends.

"Hey guys." I said squeezing inbetween Fred and George.

"Hello, Assy!" They both exclaimed, hugging me close. (As if I wasn't already close enough...)

"So, what have you been up to?" I ask raising an eyebrow at the two while piling my plate with food.

"Oh, nothing much. But, I wouldn't recommend you to go to Snape's room in... Yeah, just don't go." Fred said.

"And don't even try to go to Filtch's corner of the castle." George continued.

"It.... Smells a little." They both finished together.

........................................

I finished lunch fast and everyone was still in The Great Hall by the time I was going to the common room.

After muttering the password I walked in, only to be pushed to a wall.

"Oh, it's only you." Draco said, letting go of me.

I pushed him away.

"What do you mean it's only me? Were you expecting somebody else?"

"Not your problem." He sneered and walked away to his dorm.

I just shrugged and decided to go to bed a little early today.

After showering and changing into my PJs, I snuggled closely to my blankets and fell into darkness while in the thoughts of the beautiful creatures that dragons are and wondering if I'll ever get to my full transformation as a dragon Elder.
