Puro kunsumisyon at pahirap and binibigay nyo. Sawang sawa na ako sa iyo. Tingnan mo nga sarili mo, ang pangit mo na, mukhang matanda pa."
"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you! Hayop ka. Wala kang kuwentang ama. Walang kang kuwentang asawa."
"Mas lalo ka, walang pakinabang sa buhay."
"Hu hu hu sobra ka na talaga."
"Hahaha ang pangit mo talaga, hahaha."
"Dei, what's happening? Are you crying sweetheart?"
"Hi Mom, Hi Dad. Mom where's my Play Doh Puppies Playset?"
"I just ordered it last night Dei, maybe in a week's time you can have it. But what is happening here why are you crying?"
"Mom she's not crying."
"But bibiboy we clearly heard your twin crying and shouting I hate you and saying some not so nice words like hayop ka and walang kwentang ama while coming in."
"Dad please call me Thirdy like how mom calls my twin Dei. We're no longer babies. We already turned ten last month. In fact, I could keep watch over Dei and Charmaine when our yayas and you and mom are not around."
"Okay Thirdy," Alden said while messing the hair of his son, "answer our question then as a young man should."
"Dei and I wanted so much to be in our school play to be presented during our school's foundation day. We are practicing to be ready for the audition searching for the right characters to play the different roles which will start next week. So, we decided to practice by playing bahay bahayan with Dei playing as mom and me as you, Dad."
"But why the shouting and the not so nice words we overheard sweetheart?" asked Meng.
"We decided to imitate the roles of the teleserye characters that we saw yaya always watched on tv where mother and father are always quarrelling and shouting at each other."
"I thought you're supposed to be playing as mom and dad and I can't recall shouting at your mom and she too doing it to me, why then do that?"
"Eh kasi dad, you're always doing and saying the same things to mom. Like hugging her always, kissing her when you think we're not looking, giving her flowers and calling her love most of the time, so what will we practice?" Our teacher said we should show intense emotions during audition to be able to pass it. And Thirdy pouted, while Dei nodded in agreement.
Meng and Alden both burst out into laughter. It could not be denied that their children are both smart and intelligent.
"And would you like mom and me to be doing the same?"
"Of course no dad," the twin unexpectedly objected loudly.
"Kasi mas masaya yong nagkukulitan tulad ng ginagawa nyo lagi kaysa nagsisigawan. We don't want you to quarrel, much more for either you or mom to leave the house. We will cry and hate you if that happens. We just want to practice acting with real emotions as what our teacher told us that's why we did it." Thirdy explained.
