When I meet You -
the world will go silent.
It will soften its edges
until all that is left
is me and you.

the only sound I can hear.
Your touch will ignite
the fire within me
and remind me of
thousands of lives spent together.
Recognition will show in your eyes
and pull me in.
You will let me grow.
Give me space.
Water me occasionally.
Give me lots of love.
We will grow together
not apart.
