Prologue

Lumalala na ng husto ang mga kaganapan sa bahagi ng hangganan ng teritoryo sa pag itan ng mga tao at immortal. Kinailangan ako mismo ang mamagitan upang maisagawa ng maayos ang kasunduan. Bilang punong taga-payo ng nakatataas na Prinsepe ng Elysion, tungkulin kong matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat ng mamamayan sa mundong ito.

Isa sa batas na ipinatutupad sa mundong ito ay ang pagbabawal sa pagdadala ng kapahamakan sa mundo ng mga tao.

"Isang malaking tulong ang iyong pagparito, kamahalan."

Nilingon ko ang tinig ng babaeng nagsalita at naunang bumati sa akin. Mataman kong pinagmasdan ang kanyang kabuuan. Isang mukha na may makamandag na kagandahan.

"Hindi ba't ako ang nararapat na magsabi niyan, Duchess Amariah. Hindi na dapat inabala pa ng pinuno ng Court of Heavens ang kanyang sarili sa mga ganitong uri ng suliranin."

Isang mabining tawa ang pinakawalan ng Duquesa. Itinaas nito ang dalang abaniko upang takpan ang kanyang bibig sa pagtawa. Kung titingnan ng maigi, isa lamang siyang magandang babae na pasimple at mahinhing tumatawa sa likod ng pamaypay. Ngunit, batid niya ang katotohanan sa likod ng mabining pagkilos nito.

Lady Amariah Chariza Cameron, Duschess of Iron Dale. Widow of Lord Ron-Charlie Gabriel Cameron, Duke of Iron Dale. The former died during the war protecting the realm against the Shadows. The late Duke of Iron Dale among with the others were the pioneers of the Court of Heavens. The highest council body with the authority that can rival even the Sovereign, the higher prince of United Elysion. They believed to be extracting orders directly from the gods. They were powerful and fearless in the battlefield. For someone who can defeat the Shadows, nobody knows the limit of their strength.

The Shadows are the creatures more powerful than anything in the realm, powerful enough to kill an immortal without a sweat. The realm knows the strength of the late Duke of Iron Dale as well as the Court of Heavens.

Back then, the realm was in chaos. People were dying. Kingdoms have fallen. The Shadows conquered, it's a total annihilation. Death is the easiest escape. But in the midst of terror, only one remains unbeatable, unconquered, unrelenting and proud - the Land of Iron Dale, ruled by its Duke, Ron-Charlie Gabriel Cameron, the 14th generation from the Cameron Clan. He defeated the Shadows, and together with his fellow Lordships they retaliate against the Shadows. One by one, they overthrow the Shadows and restored peace in the realm.

Thus, in the final battle to regain the Capital, The Elysion; The Duke of Iron Dale together with his fellow Lordships, died in the battlefield. His death is believed to be victorious. He took his last breath in the battlefield, with his enemies vanquished and with a triumph smile on his lips.

He did not lived long enough to celebrate the victory. His wife, the Duchess, was with him in the battlefield. Taking great honor of his death, the widow took his position as the head of the Court of Heavens, nourishing the realm back to its feet.

The Duchess known as the ruler of Iron Dale cannot be overlooked as a normal lady. She looked so young for a woman who have seen the battlefield. But for someone to be the wife of the war hero, she  has to be his equal in every thing.

"Mahigit ilang dekada na ang nagdaan, kamahalan, ngunit hindi pa rin nawawala ang banta ng pagbabalik ng mga Shadows. Tungkulin ng Court of Heavens ang siguraduhin na mananatili ang kapayapaan sa mundong ito."

Wala akong maaring sabihin pa patungkol sa bagay na iyon. Bagamat iginagalang ng Court of Heavens ang aking position bilang Prinsepe ng Sol Trinitia, isa sa pitong kahariang bumubuo sa United Elysion, wala akong kakayahang pangunahan ang desisyon nila.
