I've been running. They were relentless, but I will not give up. I will not give them the satisfaction. For two years I have stayed hidden just like the others. And also just like the others I have a duty needed to be fulfilled.
Our world was attacked by the Shadows. Monsters and cursed immortals and other kind have swarm across the kingdom. The Kingdom of United Elysion lay in ruins. The Highest Prince, Azaphielle is dead. The other princes are missing. The Highest Council - the Court of Heavens remains a stronghold, fighting to regain our world from the Shadows.
My father, Lord Julian Howard Howell - Marquis of Ley Hollow is a member of the Court. By the order of their leader, Duchess of Iron Dale; we must protect the throne, the future of our realm lies with our kingdom's leader and hierarchy.
My duty is to protect the princess of Liv'Ares. A small yet another powerful kingdom located west of United Elysion. We should have stayed to fight but the council ordered the survival of the lineage. With the most powerful kingdom of United Elysion defeated and lay in ruins, we do not stand a chance.
Nobody knows what really happened in the Capital of the once formidable kingdom. Nobody lived to tell a tale. All that is left are people stood frozen and encased in crystals. Alive or dead? we do not know. Nobody can tell. The Court refused to say anything other than the Highest Prince is dead, the others are missing.
We cannot allow the Shadows to win by eliminating the lineage of the throne. We chose to run on exile, to protect our future.
That was two years ago.
I, along with the others were chosen to protect the princess. She's our future. She's our salvation. Unfortunately, She's also missing and we do not know where she is.
She have chosen this path to protect us too. Most of our allies have fallen in battle. The princess have chosen to fight alone, without the sacrifice of any of us. Though we haven't seen her for quite some time, we know she's alive.
Though she may have chosen to leave our protection to protect us, we will still protect her in our own way. Our duty remains. The Shadows continues to hunt us, one by one. They were looking for her. Hunting. But we will not give in. I will not give in.
For I will hunt them as well.
I am the Lady of Ley Hollow, protector of the throne of Liv'Ares. For those who seek ill of the princess, I will be your judge and death is my verdict.

There's a loud ringing in my ear.
I opened my eyes, squinting painfully against the dust and smoke. There's a fire and I can feel the heat burning. I tried to move but my body refuses to cooperate.
I tried to remember what was happening. I was in the backseat of my car. We were driving along the street two blocks away from my mansion when suddenly I felt my body tensed. I sensed a danger approaching and then it happens. An explosion.
The car tumbled and rolled like a paper caught in the gust of wind. I know there's more coming. I can feel them, watching and waiting. Maybe I shouldn't leave the car but what choice do I have? It's either stay and burn or fight and die. I chose the latter.
I tried to use my strength to push my body to move and crawl out of the rumble of my car. Out in haze of my blurry vision, I saw my driver fighting.
I frowned at the scene before me. Martin, my personal driver was dressed in his usual black suit but the unusual thing that caught my eyes is the thing that he is holding in his hands. It's a sword.
He is surrounded by men dressed in dark cloaks. He is fighting them on his own. His back is facing me and I can tell that he is doing his best to protect me. Why do I feel like it's a loosing battle? Martin is all alone. I can sense dark power coming from these men. And I can sense death. I can feel it. And it's upon us.
