Chapter 50: Revealed

**CHAPTER FIFTY**

"Sorry about last night, May! Hindi ko na sana tinuloy 'yung open forum." Cristy said as she begged for forgiveness.

We're having a tea right now.

She just invited me all of a sudden kahit na sobrang hectic ng schedule niya.

Thank goodness at dalawa lang ang classes ko today. I officially dropped Mark's class last week.

"Ikaw kasi eh." I replied.

"Huuuuu! Huwag ka ng magalit! I just thought it was the only solution, you know."

Only solution?

"What are you talking about?" I curiously asked her.

"Mark asked me why you left him."

What?! Damn. Cristy, papatayin talaga kita. Hmpf.

"Gusto mong masapak ha?" pabiro kong sabi sa kanya.

"Eeehh! Sorry na kasi. But you know what? Something's strange eh. From what he said, he didn't remember kissing Jessica that night."

I just rolled my eyes. "Malamang in denial pa rin iyon."

"No! Talagang hindi niya alam! Sobrang galit nga siya at natulala nung sinabi ko 'yung buong nangyari!"

Eh? Bakit di niya maalala? May amnesia siya? Ganon?

"What did he tell you?" tanong ko.

"Well, first, he asked me why you broke up with him because he's really clueless. Second, when I told him the reason why you left him, he got all mashed up. He told me he didn't remember a single thing which happened that night."

She sipped her tea then started talking again, "While he's waiting for you to get online, he felt drowsy and dizzy, then the next thing he knew, nakatulog na siya. That's what he said."

"Ang labo naman ata nun." sabi ko.

Bakit may own version siya? Eh ako na nga mismo ang nakasaksi sa lahat ng mga pangyayari na naghahalikan silang dalawa ni Jessica!

"But think about it, why would he even bother kissing Jessica even though he knows you're watching through Skype. Ano siya? Bobo? 'Tas after that, hahabol-habulin ka? Something is really fishy, May."

"Aish. Hayaan mo na. It was all in the past. We already had our closure last night."

I don't know if I should believe what Cristy is telling me.

Naghalikan sila without knowing a single thing about it? Pinagtitripan ba nila ako?

But Cristy is right as well. Why would he even do such an act when I'm watching him?

This is really confusing.

MARK's POV

I still can't believe what I found out last night.

It still bothers me even if May rejected me completely.

Flashback:

Nagpasama si Rey sa pagsundo kay Cristy.

Ewan ko ba sa mokong 'to kung bakit kailangan niya pa akong isama. Trip niya lang daw, tsaka malapit lang daw bahay namin kaya sabay na lang daw kami pumunta sa Kasachi.

"Uy Cris, kamusta ka na?" pangangamusta ko kay Cristy nang sunduin namin siya.

Inirapan niya ako. "Huwag mo'kong kausapin." mataray niyang sabi sa'kin.
