Dream or reality?
Asgard was alight with a glorious feast. Clinking of chalices rung through the halls, followed by laughter. The Lady Sif smiled as she heard her fellow warriors and friends, yet she was not in party mood. She retreated to her chambers, sneaking away before anyone knew she was gone. She closed the large oak doors behind her, drowning out the sound. She changed from her armour and into her white bed gown, and sat upon her balcony. She watched planets passing distantly in the night sky, sometimes she wondered what it was like elsewhere in the universe. Asgard was were home yet...she felt so alone right now. Thor was grieving not just the loss of Loki but for his mortal. Sif herself had lost a lover no one knew she had, her fake smile threw everyone off its scent, but now she empty with nothing to look forward to. She looked down from her balcony and watched the drunken men of Asgard return home to their wives and loved ones, she half smiled for their happiness but scowled at her jealousy. She leant her head back and closed her eyes for a second.
'Sif...' Came an echoing voice somewhere in her subconscious. She opened her eyes and looked into the shadows. She saw a figure, green eyes penetrating the darkness, she knew those eyes immediately. 'Loki...' She gasped as she stood and floated over. He held out a hand for to grasp to, pulling her close when she wrapped her own hand around it. 'I thought you dead...' She spoke quietly. 'Sif....I can not tell you where I am right now, I have plans that are out of my control. But although I can not return, never doubt my love for you is stronger than this distance, stronger the hatred to come.' She squinted into the darkness, confused. 'Hatred? Loki I am-' A finger was placed upon her lips, follows my his own. They shared a soft, gentle and loving kiss before he spoke again. 'I know my words confuse you, but they will make sense soon I promise. Just promise you will not lose faith in me, I am still right here..' He touched her chest. '...I always will be.' She went to place her hand on his but found it was gone, when she refocused she found he too was gone. 'Loki?' She called into the shadows but nothing came back. Her back began to ache, she placed her hand upon it arms...she opened her eyes...she was still on the balcony, she yawned wearily and pulled herself from the ground. She curled herself into her bed, still the confused feeling burned inside. Was that real? Or was it a dream? She couldn't be sure. She closed her eyes out of pure exhaustion and wiped them briefly when a few tears fell.
