Walk of Fate

Okay, first off. I'm absolutely SORRY I haven't updated. School is literally getting way out of hand. But I also never feel like writing until gym today, talking to 100arrowsshot (: and basically yelled at me! So, here's a new chapter after about 2-3 months? (I also got over 5k reads within that time period... Thanks)

We all limp slowly, taking baby steps as we walk back home.

"This trip was a complete, utter failure." I say to everyone as I take a bite into a apple.

I silently offer one, I nods everyone but they decline.

"You can say that again..." Arrows says sarcastically, rubbing her arm from the pain.

"I know who we need." Crazy glares at me angrily.

"Hey, he stormed off! I didn't tell him too! Plus, I wasn't the only one annoying him." I reply sounding annoyed, as I was.

"Whatever." She scowls at me before looking away.

"He will come back. I know it. He loves you." Catter says with a smirk about to burst out laughing.

That seemed to cheer the whole crew up.

"I'm sure he will." Dirt says, emotionless.

"I think we learned something today," Ethan begins as we all stare at him, "we are pretty dumb." We all laugh in return. That is VERY true.

We continue to walk in silence. I had no clue where we were going. We will never be able to make it home.

Wait a minute.

Our SPAWN!

"Guys!" I scream at the top of my lunges, hurting mine and everyone else's ears.

"What?!" Crazy yells back, but a little quieter.

"Spawn. We don't need to walk home."

(THEIR spawn is home)

"Oh jeez... that's right!" Ethan said as if he discovered something that could save the server.

"Good idea but not a good idea. WE don't have the same spawn." Dirt said in a "smart-allec" tone.

That's right... I know it's a quick decision but I think it's better if we don't continue the journey together.

I look down at my shoes. It takes the boys about a minute to realize what I want.

"It's okay." Dirt says looking down, same as I do.

"Yeah..." Ethan says.

We all stop and exchange glances at eachother.

"You know. This isn't bad. I mean, the map isn't as big as we think it is. Maybe we find eachother again." Arrows suggests trying to make the boys feel better. She does a suffice job, in my eyes.

"Yeah! Maybe we'll bump into eachother again!" Catter says agreeing.

"I think so too." Crazy says.

I see Ethan smile at her.

"So, this is goodbye?" Dirt says in a disappointed tone.

"I'm afraid so..." I say and is almost inaudible.

I don't look at him and begin to prepare for the quick trip back.

"I just want to say, it was really, really nice seeing you again... it's been so long... even in this little time it was amazing." Dirt says looking in all of our eyes, reassuring us it will be okay.

"I agree. You seem like good friends, well I mean, you're good friends. It was nice meeting you." He says with a smile.

"Yeah. Nice meeting you two!" Catter says with a beautiful grin. I've never seen her this happy.

I don't know if it's because she's glad they're gone or if their speeches were good. I laugh to myself silently but with a slight smirk.

"We best be going." I say trying to end things faster.

I never was good with 'goodbyes'.

We all wave to eachother goodbye and I glance one last time at Dirt, before the magic of teleporting whisks me away before I know it.

When we arrive home, I quickly begin to work on Arrows' arm.

"Uhh... I-I could break it back into place?" I suggest, dumbfounded.

"ARE YOU MENTAL?" She yells back at me in response.

"You're right, you're right." I don't know what to do. I'm NOT. A doctor!

"Any of you remember what our teacher said in school?" I ask everyone in desperation.

"Make a cast... don't use that arm at all." Crazy says me. I nod as I run to grab supplies.

I grab a bunch of string to sew a cast.

"Anyone know how to sew?" I say holding up the needle and string.

"No, but I can help." I hear a mans voice... Herobrine.

I turn around to see him looking at my eyes. I smile but his face remains with pain.

He brushes by me and grabs Arrows' arm, when a sudden light glows. A sunset orange color soon fades.

"Wow." Arrows grabs her arm and slowly bends it, as if she's used it for he first time.

"Thank you!" She yells in happiness.

We all smile back.

So much for paying attention in class.

I notice Herobrine staring at me while I'm smiling. He walks away... not smiling.

I follow him into the other room.

He stops once I reach him. I turn him around and begin apologizing immediately. He stops me with a suffocating, cozy hug.

It's not limp either. It's like he has waited years for this.

In reaction I wrap my arms around him too.

He is a lot better hugger than Dirt... but who cares. Herobrine is mine.

I just realized, also, he smells pretty good.

I hope it isn't weird but I inhale his sweatshirts sweet scent. I think he noticed, laughed, and held me even tighter.

I don't know... but I may be falling for him.
