I woke up the next morning feeling like compete shit, my eyes hurt from all the crying I did last night. I could hear the piano being played from not far away, and Gary's gorgeous voice singing 'I fall so deep', I turned round on the sofa, to see a note on the table written in Garys handwriting:
I'm so sorry about last night, once again I've hurt you. I am so, so sorry. Please forgive me.x
I managed to get together enough energy to get up off the sofa, I slowly walked over to the piano where Gary was totally lost in his music. I stood there until he'd finished and he looked up at me, his eyes widen and he stood up.
"Gary of course I forgive you. It's me who should be apologising, I was totally out of order, I had no right to say what I did, I'm so sorry I really am." I blurted out.
"I hate fighting with you, I was so lonely last night, it didn't feel right." He said pulling me in to a hug. I wanted to cry again but I felt like that was all I'd been doing recently.
"It's only six hours till the charity event, will you have enough time to get ready? I know what you women are like." He winked at me, I'm glad we were okay again honestly.
"Please, it'll take you longer Mr Barlow." I winked back and walked away.
"Oh and by the way Laurens coming back early, she's going to be back on this Saturday, not the Saturday after." I turned round and told him. A disappointed look came over his face.
"Whats wrong?" I asked him.
"Nothing, it's just erm does this mean that you're erm going to leave on Saturday as well? Because I've really liked having you here and I was really looking forward to spending more time alone with you..." He trailed off with his eyes staring down at his feet, he seemed so vulnerable and I didn't like seeing him like this.
"G." I said walking over to him and lifting up his chin. "If you want me to stay another week, then I will." I assured him, causing him to smile slightly.
"Thank you." He smiled still with his vulnerability showing. I walked away and sat back on the sofa and covered myself with one of the blankets because it was a bit cold. I picked out my phone and dialled Marks number. After 4 rings he picked up.
"Hey Katie, you alright?" He asked me. He made me giggle because he was so kind.
"I'm fine thanks, how are you?" I asked in return.
"I'm good thank you, now what can I help you with?" He asked me.
"Erm Laurens coming back this Saturday now, so I was wondering that if you're both free and she agrees if you wanted to go on a date with her on Monday?" I was so hoping he would say yes because he honestly would be perfect for her.
"Wow, erm, yeah of course. That's brilliant, oh my I'm going to have to go buy a new outfit or something." He did make me laugh honestly.
"You're so girly you know." I said giggling at him.
"I've heard you screaming, believe me, you're girly." It made me blush every time knowing that he had heard us.
"Yes, but the thing is, I am a girl. Yes I'll ask her but I'm going to make it a sort of blind date kind of thing, because I don't want her freaking out to much." I explained to him.
"That's fine." He told me.
"Bye then Mark."
"Bye." He hung up. Gary stood there looking at me.
"Erm, when did you get Marks number?" He asked in a jealous sort of tone.
"The other night, so I could contact him about this." I told him. He just huffed and walked out. I though I'd text Lauren to tell her in stead of having her shout down the phone at me;
