It wasn't fun having to tell Michael that I was leaving, although I didn't really like the job it was easy, and it was fun and I got to be around nice people all day. I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss the place but I just had to move on and do something I enjoy.

I hadn't been home since yesterday and Lauren hadn't even called or text me to see where I was or to make sure I was alright, I just assumed that Mark had told her where I was and not that she was just being rude. I hadn't the need to have gone home in the morning because I still had clothes, makeup and everything else I needed at Garys.

I made a note to myself to make sure Gary goes on a proper shop soon because there was a lack of any food that could be made into anything decent anywhere in the kitchen. I thought about maybe ordering a takeaway but just decided to throw something together with what was in the house.

I was about halfway through eating the meal I had made - it had a bit of about everything in it - when the front door opened and Gary came in.

"Oh my god!" I screamed with happiness and practically threw my plate down and ran over to him. "I didn't think you were back until tomorrow!" I said jumping up and wrapping my legs around him while he hugged me then dipping my head into the crook of his neck.

"I wanted to surprise you." He smiled and kissed the side of my head.

"I've missed you." I complained and pulled back to look at him.

"I've missed you too babe." He cooed and pulled me closer to him, hovered over my lips then leaned in to gently kiss me. "What were you eating?" He asked and put me back down on my feet.

"That's not important. But you need to go food shopping." I pulled him back down to me and tried to kiss him but he pulled away.

"Katie, make sure you eat." He frowned at me.

"I have ate." I protested.

"But you haven't finished it." He rolled his eyes.

"But you're more interesting." I pouted at him.

"Don't look at me like that, come on just finish what you were eating, I don't want you to pass out again." He pulled me back over to where I was sat on the sofa.

"I'm not a child." I complained.

"You're right, a child would eat whatever this is." He laughed at me.

"Haha, yeah right." I scoffed at him but ate my food anyway while he went upstairs and unpacked all the things he'd taken with him.

After I'd finished I went into the kitchen to wash my plate and everything else is used to cook my food.

"Why don't you just use the dishwasher?" Gary asked when he walked in.

"You have a dishwasher!?"

"Yeah." He replied pulling the door of it down.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I gaped at it.

"Because it's more fun watching you wash the dishes, you never know what's going to happen." He picked up a plate and put it in the machine.

"Oh my, I'm actually going to kill you. Why tell me now instead of making me suffer longer?" I asked.

"Because I need to talk to you." He said putting more items into the machine.
