The minute I got home from my practice day for Ollys team I decided to call Gary, I was proper buzzing and Lauren wasn't in so I had no one to tell.

"Hey babe," I said when he picked up. "You okay to talk for a few minutes?" I asked not wanting to disturb him while he was doing anything important.

"Yeah, I'm just on a break actually, I've got about five minutes." I could practically feel him smiling on the other end of the phone.

"I just wanted to tell you how my day went." I couldn't keep from sounding excited.

"Oh you're back home? You sound happy, that's good right?" He said, I could hear him getting more and more excited as well.

"Yeah it went alright." I tried to sound less excited and a bit more disappointed than anything. "I mean it was very hectic because of how close it is to his album release as well." I explained to him what had happened during the day. "Anyway, I got the job!" I screamed down the end of the phone happily.

"Oh my goodness babe!" He practically screamed back. "I'm sorry happy and proud of you." I heard him say more quietly probably to stop people looking at him.

"I'm so happy, I start on the 9th of December as long as everything goes to plan." I told him again not being able to hold mu excitement in. "Anyway, I'll let you carry on babe."

"I'll try and wrap this up earlier than planned and I'll come round and see you, okay I'll talk later, bye baby." He said with rustling in the background.

"Bye." I replied and hung up.

I sat there and thought about how amazing my life was at the moment, I had my dream job, the most amazing friends, I finally had my best friend back after all these years and he wasn't just my best friend but also the most amazing boyfriend ever.

"So how did everything go yesterday?" Lucy asked me when I walked into the store.

"It went amazing." I smiled. "The jobs mine if I want it." I grinned at her.

"Katie, I'm so happy for you." She said proper hugging me. "I cannot believe you're leaving me though." She pouted.

"I know, I'm sorrym it's just you know this is my dream job and I'm so grateful for the oppotunity. But I promise you I will see you all the time because we all know you're the closest thing I have to a family." I said hugging her again.

"I'm so, so happy for you though seriously. Oh and by the way, Meg's apparently coming in later, she has something to tell us, I have no idea what though." She shrugged and walked to go behind the counter.

"Oh great, any idea what time?" I asked hoping I'd be on a break or something.

"Well she actually said she'd be coming in like not long after we'd opened." She rolled her eyes at the thought.

"Who's coming in not long after we're open?" Michael asked walking in.

"Meg, she's got something to tell us." She shrugged again.

"Oh god, I'm pretty sure I just saw her walking past that far window." I laughed then hid under the counter.

"Literally so rude." Lucy laughed with me and pulling me back up.

"I'm being-" I started to say but was cut off by myself when the doors opened slightly and Megs head popped around it.

"Hey guys." She beamed and walked in. "I need to make this quick because I've got a busy day, but because you two are my best friends..." She smiled at me and Lucy.
