Hello everyone, this is just a quick thing to say thank you for all the votes and reads I never would have dreamed getting over 100 reads let alone nearly 2,000 so I love you all for that.

Sorry it's took me ages to update and it's probably a shit chapter but I've had major writers block recently but I think I've set myself up nicely for the next few chapters.

The layout of this chapter is different to the previous ones because I am currently editing them all only speech wise to make it easier for you all to read the conversations so bare with me on that. Also I'm going to edit spelling mistakes and all that as well.

And finally nearer the end of this chapter I have wrote something about self harm so if that's a touchy subject to you please just skip over it because I don't want to cause anyone any distress. I love you all so much and please continue to comment and vote thank you!x

"So let me get this right, you and Gary were going to pretend that you were together for a while for the sake of me, Jay, Howard and Rob?" Mark questioned me about what I had told him earlier that day.

"Oh my, that makes me sound terrible doesn't it?" I cringed at myself as I ate the spaghetti that Mark had made for me.

"No, no. It makes you sound really sweet to be willing to do that for him." This caused my first genuine, big smile of the day since I left the house this morning.

"Well it all worked out for the best anyway because now we're actually together" Once again causing me to smile. "This is amazing by the way, much better than whatever Gary decides to make." I praised Mark and laughed as I pointed to the food.

"What's better than what Gary makes?" I was startled by the his voice coming from behind me as I hadn't even notice Gary was there but it did make me smile.

"Nothing." I tried to lie but he saw straight through it and smirked. I turned my head back to Mark who was trying not to laugh at my terrible attempt to lie.

"Being rude about my cooking again?" Gary laughed as he came to stand in front of me.

"As if I would do that." I said rolling my eyes and taking the last bite of my food.

"Mm hmm." He made a noise as he lent down to lightly kiss me on the mouth.

"I'll be going then." Mark awkwardly announced as he stood up. Both me and Gary looked over at him and Gary stood straight up again.

"Thank you for looking after her while I was gone." Gary thanked him as he walked towards the door.

"It's fine honestly, Katies such a fun person I'm liking getting to know her." Mark said and smiled at me before he walked out the kitchen.

I followed him out "Have fun on Monday." I called after him before he left.

"I'm sure I will. Thank you." He said before opening the door and leaving.

Once I knew he was gone I walked back in the kitchen and started cleaning up. "How you feeling?" Gary asked me as I ran the water in the sink to wash up.

"Better, hanging out with Marks helped. He's such a nice person and I honestly think him and Lauren will get on great." I turned round and smiled at Gary while squeezing some washing up liquid in the sink.

"Aw that's good he really likes you, they all really like you. I was talking to Rob earlier and he was saying how you're one of the most interesting people he's ever met." He said as he walked closer to me.

"As if I am, he's met some of the most amazing people in the world. Although I am happy they like me, I was worried they wouldn't and we wouldn't get along and shit would happen." I sighed as I put the first plate in the sink full of soapy water.
