A/N This multimedia fanfic opens with Christian at Elena Lincoln's house, the antagonist and minor character from Ana's perspective. This retelling has new fictional characters some based on real people like Mark Zuckerberg and others like members of Elena's household are original fictional characters.
Although this is predominantly a sizzling romance between Christian and Ana, you may get insight into Christian's life before Ana. In the original story, he admitted to many short liaisons, being in the 'club' scene and five long term relationships, the longest being with Elena Lincoln. It is because of this role that Elena will have more than one scene in this retelling.
In 'FSoG' Christian described Elena to Ana as someone who saved him from the destructive path and loved him in a way he found acceptable. Christian told Ana, he talked to Elena about 'life, the universe, business', that he confides in her about his 'perfect' family and budding relationship with Ana. He said, "We can discuss anything...I have no sexual or romantic interest in her [Elena] whatsoever. She's a dear, valued friend and a business partner. That's all. We have a past, a shared history, which was monumentally beneficial for me, though it fucked up her marriage – but that side of our relationship is over."
This re-imagining will try to bring scenes from Christian's time with mother, Ella, the Grey family and previous significant relationships, through flash backs, dreams and dialogue.
Chapters with the Christian x Ana interview (Part 1 to 4) and hardware store scenes should be added over the next couple of weeks or months. The rest of the first book up to Chapter 32 is currently unedited and is due to be rewritten over the next few months.
