When I wake up, I am in my cell. I try to sit up, but I gasp in pain as it shoots throughout my body. A tray of food and water sits by me, but I ignore it. I try to remember the cause of this pain, then it hits me.

You were kidnapped. Kidnapped and experimented on. They did this to you.

These thoughts rush through my mind, making me full of rage. What I don't notice is that my hands are on fire. Frustrated, I punch the wall, breaking it easily. My eyes widen in shock. I then try the door, and it flies off of its hinges. I run down the hall, only to meet guards. I run through them and keep running. Alarms blare through the facility.

No matter what, I won't kill anyone... Unless it's necessary.

When I reach the light of the outside world, I see soldiers fighting against someone with a red cape and... a hammer? I take this chance and run away at a fast speed, letting no one notice me. When I am a good distance away I hear an explosion. I look back for a brief second, then run.

After a while, I stop running. I'm far away enough to walk. However, due to my fatigue and sore muscles, I limp. It only gets worse as I find a quiet road. No one will see me. I just decide to follow the road. However, the plan doesn't work very well, since I hit the ground and become limp.

When I wake up, I'm in a soft bed. I look around at my surroundings. It's a small, cozy room, with pictures of unfamiliar faces hanging on the walls. I get up at look at them. The family looks so happy.

"They're my grandchildren." A nice, calm voice says.

I turn around to meet an older, friendly-looking woman.

"They absolutely love everything, and they're so full of energy. Come now, you must be hungry."

I nod and follow her out of the room. I sit at a table and watch as she prepares a sandwich. She sets it in front of me, and I don't hesitate to eat.

"What's a young girl like you doing out in the dark half-starved and knocked out in the middle of a deserted road?" She asks.

I swallow the amazing food, "I was lost. I'm pretty sure I'm far away from home. I have no money or a place to stay. I've been making it by alright. And I was passed out because I was so tired. I'd been walking and running for the entire day without any food or water."

"Oh you poor thing. Well, you can stay with me for as long as you'd like. My name is Ellen." I smile gratefully at Ellen, and we talk.

I've make it back home. I can't believe I was in Europe for all those years. Ellen was so kind to give me new clothes and send me on a boat home. I finally get to go back to my hometown in New York.

It night right now, so I try to keep my distance and stay quiet. I then hear someone struggling. I look up to see a young boy, about my age, getting pushed into an alley by an older man.

Without a second thought, I follow them, my silver eyes filled with hatred. I watch the boy getting pushed against a wall, a gun pointing at him. I cough to gain their attention.

"When you're trying to rob someone, don't do where someone can see," I say, angry by the man in black's actions.

He points the gun at me," You shouldn't be here, Princess." I roll my eyes, "That gun will do nothing. You have it on safety." The trick worked. He looks at his gun," No it's not, it's o-" I punch him in the gut. Hard. He drops the gun and falls to the ground. After regaining his composure, he takes a few swings at me. I dodge them all, hitting the guy again and again till he drops again. The guy's eyes widen in fear, and he gets up and runs away.
