I am on the verge of tears before jumping out the window. I manage to say one word to Joshua. A word full of hatred and broken trust,"Traitor."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I land with a thud, and run. I run and I don't stop, until I find myself in the park. When I look at my hands, they were on fire. I almost scream, but they didn't burn. I quickly extinguish the fire, and sit on the bench. Tomorrow I'll go where no one suspects.
----Time Skip----
I hear the captain walk to my bed.  "Iris, wake up." I sit up and rub my eyes. I reach in my pocket and pull out a few Ben Franklins. I set them on a table and jump off the boat. I wave to the captain,"Thanks for the ride!" He smiles and waves back, "Stay safe Iris!"
I sigh and walk towards the large forest. No one will know I'm here. The closer I get to the green trees, the faster I walk. I end up running to my new home.
The deeper I go into the forest, the more sounds I hear. I take off my back pack and toss it to a tree. It lands on a branch perfectly. "Thank you," I wave to the tree. I go off exploring, hoping to make new friends. The rain slowly falls until I find shelter. When I reach a tree, a down-pour occurs. I lay against the tree and fall asleep.
"Dear Iris, why did you run?" A voice asks. I scoff, "You experimented on me!" The figure chuckles,"No Iris, why did you run from help? Those people wanted to help you, as do I." I grow annoyed, "They did not. I was stupid to think they wouldn't recognize the HYDRA symbol." The figure steps towards me,"Iris, I will never hurt you." I look at the figure. She seems, familiar. "Who are you?" She sweetly smiles,"I am of the earth and flame, water and air." I realize what she says. "So you're, Mother Nature?" She nods,"Now wake up darling, and use your powers for good use." She slowly drifts farther away, until she's gone.
I wake up covered in fur. I look around until you see a young jaguar sitting in front of me. I tell myself to run, but I  can't. The jaguar looks at me, then roars. I jump, but he lays down on my lap. I smile, but it quickly fades as more jaguars surround me. The young male gets up and jumps from the tree. I watch their movements until one climbs up and pushes me off. I fall to the ground, landing with a thud. "Ow." I get up, rubbing the back of my head.
I  get my bag and pull out a hair tie. I pull my long auburn hair in a ponytail. I pull the bag over my shoulder as I follow the jags. I smile, knowing I found friends.
----1 month later----
Fury's POV
I pinch the bridge of my nose as the Avengers look at the profile. "How could you not find her?! No one left the base before you got there!" Thor speaks up." As I was fighting HYDRA soldiers, I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye." I sigh. "This girl could be anywhere by now! It's been a month and you can't find her!" My voice raises. They better find her. Otherwise, we could be in danger. Steve gets an idea,"Fury, what if she's hiding, like Bruce."
I sit in my chair, "Where would she hide? She's got no friends, no family, and the last place she was at, our agents couldn't catch her." "Fury, we will find her. One way or another," Romanoff promised. I gesture them to leave, "Dismissed". They all leave, leaving me to think. We have to have this girl in custody.
No one's POV
The Avengers walk to the couch, trying to figure out where Iris is hiding. "JARVIS, look for Iris Clawheart." Tony said while grabbing a drink. "Yes Mr. Stark." The room fell silent.
