Pagkarating ko sa bahay, binati ako ng mga nakahilerang maid.

"Good evening young lady." Sabay sabay pa sila sa pagyuko.

"Where's Oyabun?"

"Nasa study room po Ojo san"

Dumiretso ako sa study room. Kumatok muna ako ng lima bago pumasok. Base sa bilang ng katok, malalaman niya kung sino ang papasok. That was a secret code.

"Konbanwa, Oyabun."Naabutan kong may ginagawa pero pansamantala muna nitong itinigil at nag-angat ng tingin sa akin.

"How's your first day in school?" Ang ibig sabihin niyan ay tinatanong kung ano ang progreso ng ipinapagawa niya.

"I met interesting people. Linibot ko ang unibersidad at napansin kong mataas ang seguridad ng paaralang iyon. Nagtataka ako kung bakit may ganyang klase ng paaralan dito sa Pililinas." Paglalahad ko pero hindi ako nagpapakita ng emosyon.

Hindi naman nagbago ang ekspresyon niya. "That's for you to find out." Nanatili ang otoridad at parating nanunuring tingin niya. Aside from that, wala na akong mabasa.

Kinuha ko ang iniabot sa aking sealed envelope.

Pagkatapos kong nagvow, ay tumalikod na ako at dumiretso sa aking silid. Nagpunta muna ako sa aking bathroom para magshower at magtoothbrush. Pagkatapos kong magbihis, umupo ako sa  aking study table at binuksan ang nasa envelope. May mga pictures at mga ilang dokumento at ilang news paper clippings.
