Yuri's POV
Viktor had a really nice apartment! It wasn't massive but had enough room for everything inside. It was cosy and warm. He urged me to take a seat so I took off his coat and did as I was told as he went into the kitchen.
He emerged a bit later with a cup of hot chocolate. "Thank you." I took the cup in my shaking hands and took a sip. Viktor frowned. "Are you feeling a bit better?" I nodded placing the cup on the coffee table.
"Yes thank you. Although without my hotel keys I won't be able to go back to the hotel..."
"It's okay, you can stay here if you like for as long as you need."
"Viktor...you really are too nice." He smiled at me and shook his head. "It's fine. Did they hurt you?"
"No. I'm fine really, just a little shaken." Eventually I managed to convince him that I was now okay. I continued to talk to him about what I had done today and he told me what he had done.
"I'm sorry about what Yuri and his gang did." Yuri...the boy from earlier. "He won't stay out of trouble...no matter how much I try to help him he just won't accept it."
"I see." At the mention of the people who had attempted to mug me earlier, my hands flinched and I ended up spilling hot chocolate on myself. It was still quite hot but not enough to burn me badly.
As I winced, Viktor got a handkerchief and dabbed at my shirt. "Here you'd best take it off." He stated before lifting my shirt off of me. I was now a bit cold again considering I wasn't wearing a top. I felt a little self conscious too.
He wrapped a duvet around me in attempt to keep me warm since apparently the gas had gone out. So he ended up putting on some movie that I couldn't understand.
"Hey Yuri. Whilst you're here, how about I be your Russian coach?" He asked with a grin. "Really? You'd teach me some Russian?" He nodded. We lowered the movie volume to talk.
He taught me a few simple phrases like where is this, how are you, what is the time etc.
"Okay so repeat the word. What's hello?"
"P-preeviet." I awkwardly pronounced. "Yeah you got it!" He replied laughing. Now that I thought about it, he didn't have much of a Russian accent when he spoke English. He must've been learning it for a long time.
"So you think you could have a conversation with me?" He asked.
"Sure." I replied not so convincingly. "Priviet. Menya zavoot Yuri.. Uh... What's your name?" Viktor burst out into laughter at my abomination of 'Russian.' Hey give me a break I'm trying!
"You can't speak English in the conversation Yuri!" He continued to laugh with pink tinting his cheeks. It was sorta...cute. Hey, w-what? Why did I think that? I went a bit red.
"Yuri are you too warm? You look red, here." He took the duvet from around me and the power came back on. "Oh great! What do you want to do now?"
Good question... We could watch netflix...YouTube...crunchyroll... Anything really.
"I'm not sure. What do you want to do?" Viktor thought for a moment at one point looking a little flustered for some reason.
"I could keep teaching you Russian if you like." I nodded in reply, why not. I was staying here for a while.
"So adeen, dva, tree, shiteiri, pyat..." I tried to recall the numbers. My short term memory wasn't very good. "Shest, siem, vosiem, dyevyet, dyesyet."
"Yes you did it!" Viktor yelled triumphantly. "I've never taught someone Russian before I can't believe it actually worked. He laughed again with a cute blush. Wait why did I think this is cute? Yuri what are you playing at stop it! Stop it right-
"Yuri what's wrong?"
"Huh?"
"I'm not sure. You looked a bit warm and flustered do you have a fever?" He placed the back of his hand on my forehead. "You're a little warm. Are you sure you're okay?" He scooted a little closer to look at me. "Y-yeah." My heartbeat grew faster and I'm sure I must've looked strange.
"Y-yuri??" He asked worriedly.
"Huh? I'm fine, I just feel a little lightheaded."
"Maybe you should get some sleep." It's only 5pm...I wouldn't wake up at the right time tomorrow if I went to sleep now. Though maybe he was right.
"O-okay." Without warning Viktor stood and scooped me up into his strong arms. I made a strange sound as he did so and flung my arms around his neck for support. We both blushed a little as he carried me to the bedroom. He placed me on the bed and sat down next to me.
"Try and get a few hours sleep, it'll make you feel better. I'll always be here."
"O-okay..." I yawned realising how jet lagged I was. I lay on the comfortable bed and closed my eyes.
Viktor's POV
He lay down and a few minutes later I could tell he was a sleep. I smiled watching him. Hm...what should I do now. I don't really have anything to do. It's been a long day maybe I should take a nap too.
I lay down next to Yuri and went to sleep.
