After a fairly quiet evening, I say fairly quiet because every now and then they would hear Yurio and his friends shouting, the pair of skaters ate and then watched yet more Russian Netflix.

Yuri wondered curiously who exactly Yurio's friends were so he decided to find out. "Hey Viktor, do you know who Yurio's friends are?" Apart from the extremely brief encounter when they had robbed his phone and keys, Yuri had never seen them and even then he didn't remember their faces.

Viktor hummed thoughtfully. "I don't think I know them. I know one of them is a skater called Otabek Altin, from Kazakstan I think." It never ceased to surprise Yuri when he found out just how many skaters he had ended up meeting during his few days in Russia.

A few moments later, the blonde Russian came into the apartment and pulled down his black hood. "Hey, I'm back." He announced apathetically. It always made Viktor laugh how much of a typically rebellious teenager Yurio was. It reminded him of himself as a teenager, although Viktor was more stroppy then rebellious.

"Hi Yurio-kun! Would you like some food?" Yuri asked trying to be pleasant. "Sure. Thanks." Before Yuri could move to the kitchen, Viktor tugged on his sleeve. "What does -kun mean?" He asked. Yuri briefly explained Japanese honorifics to the two of them and eventually both Russians understood.

"So Yuri, am I your senpai? Can I call you Yuri-chan?" He asked with a wide smile. "Uhm...no." He chuckled and then went back to his previous task of getting some food for Yurio.

By around 9pm it was already near pitch black outside and the three of them were quite tired. "I'm gonna head to bed, goodnight Yurio!" Viktor announced patting him on the head as he walked to the bedroom. The young Russian draped on the sofa, took his ear buds out to reply good night, and then returned to listening to his music.

"Oh by the way katsudon," started the blonde taking his earbuds out a second time, "I'm going out with Beka tomorrow so I might not be here in the morning." He explained. Yuri chuckled a little. "She sounds like a nice girl, have fun. Goodnight Yurio-kun." By that point however, the ice tiger had returned to his angsty tumblr account and was oblivious to what the older had said.

Yuri followed Viktor, also telling Yurio not to stay up too late. He sounded like his mother.

Yuri got into the bed and snuggled up closely to Viktor as he was really cold. For whatever reason there was a large window in the bedroom that made it very cold and in summer, he thought, would probably let in a lot of light. Though he wouldn't have to worry about that. It was quiet for a while until Yuri spoke up abruptly.

"Viktor, why are you my coach?" The Russian gave Yuri a funny look as if questioning that he'd heard him correctly. "Because I like you silly!" He said poking him in the forehead. "And you have a lot of potential."

"But...aren't I your rival? We're both competing in the Grand Prix." He was right. If anything, Viktor was lowering his chances of doing well by helping and teaching one of his rivals, surely that much was obvious.

"Oh yeah...I forgot!" Yuri sighed at the useless mans memory although he did find it amusing at times. "So.. Are you going to stop coaching me?" Yuri felt the arms around him hold tighter and he felt a kiss on his forehead. "Of course I'm not. Good night."

He replied with the same and closed his eyes but couldn't sleep due to his own thinking. Was that true? Eventually Viktor would have to give up being his coach because obviously that wouldn't work at the Grand Prix final. And what about Yurio? And Otabek? Only then did he realise how little he had thought about the Grand Prix.

The next morning, Yuri woke up to find that Viktor was still sleeping, his arms still clinging on to the younger's waist with a faint smile. He moved the Russian's bangs out of his face and gave him a small kiss on the head before deciding to get out of bed.

He checked his phone, still half asleep, and saw that the time was about 10am. Wow, they slept for a long time. After not eating in nearly half a day, Yuri planned to get some cereal and then wake Viktor up and maybe go to the rink. Sounds like a plan, he thought.

With a light hum, he opened the bedroom door which led into the living room of the apartment. Letting out a small yawn, he walked in. But then quite abruptly stopped.

He wasn't quite sure if his vision was betraying him due to the lack of glasses.

He blinked and stared in shock.

There, two teenagers who had previously been kissing quite passionately, were looking up in shock horror at the Japanese boy.

One of them was Yurio.

And the one on top of him, he didn't quite know.
