"I am proud to pronounce all 428 of you, Graduates of the class of 2018!" My principal announced, the entire center erupting in cheers as we clutched our caps and threw them up into the air.
I can't believe I made it, I thought. I made it.
When we all dispersed to meet and visit with family, teachers, fellow students, I immediately began to search the crowd for my wonderful fiancee.
"Congratulations!!!!" I heard the familiar voice say, causing me to run into his arms. As we were reunited, other graduates took notice of us two. Many giving us different looks. But we didn't care.
"I'm so proud of you," I heard another familiar voice, pulling my attention over to Audrey, "You found your way. You made it, Daisy."
I found my way, I repeated to myself, I found myself, and my way. I made it.
