Erika stared keenly at the large fighting arena. Loud shouts erupted from it as well as multiple thuds.

The purple haired flame stared at Hisoka with a cocked brow. He gave her a close-eyed smile in return which she glared at.

"Are you sure they'll be here?" She asked. Hisoka opened his eyes and put a pointed finger under her chin, pointing her face up. "But of course. Not all of them, but they'll be here."

Erika huffed and nodded, turning her face away from his. Hisoka began walking towards the arena. He motioned her to follow.

The girl shook her head. "I'm going o wait and see if they'll come myself. Meet you at the top pedo." She told him.

Hisoka faked a broken heart before smiling and continuing on to the building.

Erika almost cried when she saw two familiar children swiftly rushing to the building. She let out a small cry; the boys noticed and ran towards her.

"Erika?!" Killua and Gon said excitedly. The two stood in front of the girl smiling. A tear escaped her eyes as the hole in her heart began mending.

First, Erika hugged the snowy haired assassin. "Killua, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything but stand while you left." He blushed before slowly hugging back. The teen then added Gon into the mixture giving him a tight squeeze.

The three laughed together before entering the arena. Upon seeing what was inside Erika switched into a cat-like predator mode.

Everyone in the room began looking her at her from top to bottom. Some were even cocky enough to brave a cat call to Erika's dismay but the girl cheered up when she thought about how Kurapika would stand up for her if he was there. Her heart continued to heal.

A man with bulging muscles stepped in the trio's path. He looked down on then with a shadowy faced smirk. "Are you sure this is a place for children?" He said, flexing his muscles. "Especially girls?" The man finished.

Though her face seemed calm, inside, Erika was a raging fiery ready to burn someone's face off. "Let's go." She said, shaking. Gon nodded and went around the large muscled man with Killua just behind. Erika was last to round the man and gave him a killer's smile.

"All we have to do is knock them out of the ring?" Gon asked. "Pretty much." Killua answered, obviously knowing much about the place.

The three parted ways to get to their first opponents which would determine their floor.

Killua and Gon were facing burly men while Erika got the same blonde and blue eyed guy from earlier. "Guess it's time to put you in your place but don't worry, I won't damage that pretty face of yours." He said. The purplette cocked a brow in boredom.

Before the referee could even finish the word 'go' Erika was already by the counter to collect her 80 jennies. The crowd looked stunned at the large blonde man sticking into the crumbled wall, a few teeth missing.

The lady at the counter rushed to get the jennies and handed them to her like a clerk getting robbed. Erika smiled sweetly at her before marching back to her ring. There, she was offered to transfer to level 200.

"I'd let you face a Floor Master right now but its policy to beat 8 people on the 100th floor first." Said the ref. Erika shook her head, "I'd like to see a friend's score before I make my decision." She said to him. The referee nodded slightly as the audience recovered from shock and other refs continued their own battles.

Erika watched amused as Gon punched his opponent into and wall while Killua chopped his with the back of his hand knocking the burly man unconscious.

Killua, too, was offered the 200th floor since he already finished the arena but went the same route as Erika in waiting for Gon. The green haired boy was given the 40th floor.

Erika walked back to her ring to inform the referee she'd like to transfer to the 40th floor. He nodded his head and gave her a ticket.

The purplette met up with her companions at the desk once more. The two boys retrieved their jennies before giving the woman behind the desk their tickets. She stamped their tickets with a smile and directed them to an elevator.

Killua ignored the elevators and instead walked to the vending machines where he bought a drink. Gon asked curiously, "Killua why are you buying that? Aren't we supposed to save our money?" Killua looked at the boy and smiled. "We'll get tons of money as we progress so don't worry. Plus, all 80 jennies can do is buy you a drink." Gon nodded at this statement and bought himself some juice. Erika, however, put her small amount of money in her pocket.

After that the trio went to the elevators and to the 40th floor.

Round after round Erika was finished in a flash and time after time she was offered the 200th floor and decline after decline she told them she'd wait for her friends.

After every match it seemed like Erika had grown a fan base as more and more people asked for an autograph. The girl coldly declined every offer and met back with her friends.

Swiftly the groups money rack expanded as the floors got higher. In just 2 weeks the trio was at the 100th floor where they got their own rooms.

Once they finally finished their last match and made it to the 200th floor Erika through the hallway the man she had to thank.

Hisoka sat on a bench emitting mild Nen just enough to stop her two companions.

Effortlessly Erika walked through the sea of Nen and went over to her supposed teammate. Reluctantly, Erika thanked the clown for showing her to the arena before going back to her struggling friends.

They couldn't move through the Nen barriers, she realized, and pushed them away. "Stop! That's dangerous. You can't walk through that without any defense. You could die!" She explained.

The two looked exasperatedly at her. "What was that?" Killua asked. Erika looked troubled as she said "Nen."
