Chapter-20

Magic Spell

The concert was only 4 hours away and we all were highly thrilled and at the same time nervous!

After having freshened up ourselves after the tiring journey, we all made our way to refreshments and then sat to do our full and final rehearsal.

Thankfully, till then no hurdles made our way. We were ready to face the audience and tell them how good we were at what we do.

RajivSir blessed us and asked us to concentrate and give the show our best’s shot.

“Wow! That was great indeed. Now, its turn of our next performance…” The host said in microphone.

Suddenly, I didn’t feel nervous wrecked at all. I felt calm and composed.

From the corner of my eye, I could feel someone tensing. It was Aahana,

I nudged her and she released her dress which she had clutched tightly.

She gave a wary smile.

I could see that she was damn nervous.

Isn’t it funny that the same girl was mocking around me the previous day?

“Hey, just relaxed. It would go well.” I gave her a brave smile and much to my amusement.

She giggled and said confidently, “I know. I had the dream.”

Aahana never fails to amuse me.

 

And indeed the performance was fabulous!

We were excellent. Everyone applaud for us and I could feel each of us chest heaving in proud!

We had qualified for finals!!

After the show, we all hung round the team and congratulated each other for their performance.

Aahana was sitting talking to her friends who had accompanied us.
