~ Priceless (Chapter 13) ~
[[ Blaine's Point Of View ]]
"Whoa!" Kurt exclaimed as I pulled him into the large coffee shop.
I smiled as he looked around amazed at the sight of it.
Tall glass windows, gorgeous flowers in seemingly hand carved pots and small crystal chandeliers over each table, for a dim glowing light.
"This is.."
"Amazing. I know. You always used to tell me about how much you'd love to have just one coffee with me here, in New York." I explained, as we walked down the bright yellow and white path to the cashiers.
He grinned still in shock, noticing other cute couples seated in black velvet chairs, drinking warm soothing coffee.
I bit my lip nervously as we finally got to the line of happily laughing customers. As the line moved along bit by bit, Kurt began to talk quietly to me.
"I really have to thank you, for thinking about this. And me."
"Well you really shouldn't be surprised." I chuckled.
"Yet I am.." He murmured, as I gazed at his face that seemed to be glowing.
"Its not a big deal Kurt. Not yet anyways.. Lets just wait until we taste the coffee."
"Yeah, your right.." He agreed, nodding.
We were chatting for a bit more until, it was our turn to get our hopefully good coffees.
"Hello. What would yo-" The blonde woman began to ask, as her icy blue eyes lit up seeing Kurt.
"Wait. Your the one playing in that Christmas musical at Times Square, right?" She questioned Kurt, excitingly.
Kurt raised an eyebrow and nodded.
"Yes. Yes I am.. Why?" He asked.
I stared at the woman who just appeared to be fangirling right about now..
About Kurt.
And I'd know this because I'd always done it when I wasn't dating him earlier, when I was in the Warblers.
"Oh my god! I just heard about the musical and the actors starring in it earlier... I guess I just realized you were one of them!" She exclaimed, smiling.
"Well so am I.." I quickly added.
She glared at me immediately, and I couldn't quite understand why but I ignored it either way. She smiled once more to Kurt, and asked us for our order.
"Well.. I don't know. What do you suggest?" Kurt asked, staring up at the list of things they had here.
And it was definitely, not just a few choices.
"Well for you, lucky star.. I'd totally go for the Macchiato!" She told Kurt.
"Well then I'll have a skinny Macchiato!" He happily said.
"And how about.. Well you?" She rudely asked.
"Um.. I'll have a caramel frappe!" I replied.
She nodded, and told us to sit at a table by the large windows, with our table number, so then they can bring it to us.
I think I really like this place already, besides the rude cashier.
Kurt nodded back, took the number, and grabbed my hand gently bringing us both to the small red table, we were told to go to. He placed the number in the silver metal slot of a slim yellow stand attached to the edge of the table.
I smirked, and stared at him in awe as he delicately did so.
"What?" He mumbled confusingly.
I got out of my little trans and back into reality.
"What do you mean, what?" I asked.
"Well your staring at me.."
"Only because your the most beautiful person, I've ever met. It's not my fault.. I really can't help it." I answered with ease.
All I wanted to tell him was that.
I was just waiting for this, kind of moment..
"R-r-really?" He stuttered to me blushing hard, looking down at the table with his hands placed on top of it.
"Yes really."
He smiled.
And it was just..
Priceless.
