"Oh, she don't see the light that's shining deeper than the eyes can find it.  Maybe we have made her blind, so she tries to cover up her pain and cut the woes away 'cause cover girls don't cry after their face is made."

When Sophia first started wrestling, she was 15.  She did it because she loved it.  It gave her an adrenaline rush, and she considered it an art form.  It was something she was good at.

She got signed to the WWE when NXT was just getting started, and due to her long indie resume, she was sent straight to the main roster.

She instantly felt out of place.

Sophia didn't look like Nikki Bella or Eva Marie.

She didn't have long legs like Summer Rae.

She didn't give off confidence like Alicia Fox.

She was just Sophia, and she knew that being "just Sophia" wouldn't get her anywhere in the WWE.  The women were beautiful, and she knew the only way to be that was to look like the other girls.

She had always heard the saying "pretty hurts", but until joining the WWE, Sophia never thought of it.

The doctors caught on quickly to what Sophia was doing, and after a few months, she was diagnosed with bulimia nervosa.  It lasted far longer than she cared to admit.

When TJ Perkins, the newest Cruiserweight Champion, finally joins the Raw roster, Sophia has gone from bulimic to anorexic.  She goes long periods of time without eating, and she doesn't see the problem.

The doctors know, and they are doing everything they can to help.

TJ notices the scars on her wrists one day, and he knows he has to help her before something horrible happens to her.

Alessia Cara is really awesome? I just found out about this song today, and it's so so good.

First of all:

DO NOT ROMANTICIZE/GLAMORIZE SOPHIA'S EATING DISORDERS OR SELF-HARM.

Second of all:

Please don't make this a story where TJ is only helping Sophia so that he can feel good about himself or so she will fall in love with him. Make him help her because she fucking needs it. If you need to, give him a reason for helping her. Does his friend also self-harm? Did he used to have an eating disorder? (Newsflash: GUYS CAN HAVE EATING DISORDERS TOO!!)

Third of all:

Please don't let them get together until she is mentally ready. If she is still struggling to eat, the last thing she needs to worry about is a relationship. If they never end up together and just remain friends, that is completely fine.

Fourth of all:

I think I made it clear in the description, but before joining the WWE, Sophia wrestled in the indies. She was huge there, but when she gets to the WWE, she's suddenly surrounded by models, and not other girls who have been wrestling for years.

Fifth of all:

This story is obviously triggering, so please don't ask for it if you can't handle it. If you do write it, definitely put trigger warnings at the beginning of your chapters.
