Dear Happy [Cesaro + OC]

Mackenzie and Cesaro met in Ring of Honor.

They dated for a few months, but eventually decided that they were better of as friends.

He eventually left, leaving Mac by herself until, one day, the WWE showed interest in her.

More specifically, they were interested in having her down in NXT, and she gladly accepted their offer, thankful for the opportunity.

As she's wrestling in NXT, she's aware that Cesaro, her ex-boyfriend who she hasn't spoken to since she left, is wrestling on the main roster and is probably aware that she is signed to the same company as him. Mac simply does nothing about it.

When she's finally moved to the main roster, she's both ecstatic and a little hesitant. Wrestling for the WWE has always been her dream, but she's going to have to confront the man that she's always had feelings for.

She pretended she felt the same way when he told her that they would probably be better as friends, and she's regretted it ever since. She's the reason they stopped talking (she stopped replying to his texts and answering his calls), and she knows he's going to ask about it.

When they're finally face-to-face, though, he doesn't ask about any of it. He doesn't even acknowledge it. Mac is just an old friend he's happy to see.

They become friends again, but Mac still feels the same way after all these years.

This is based on the song Dear Happy by Dodie Clark + Thomas Sanders, who are both pure and wonderful. They just posted the video today lmao, but I really like the song.

This idea could work with any former ROH guy, really (or any of the cruiserweights). I just chose Cesaro because he could call her Mackenzie while everyone else calls her Mac. (I just like making him call people by their full name? I don't know, it's weird haha)
