He's seen her at her lowest. He was there at her highest.
He was there for her NXT debut. He watched as she won over the WWE Universe. He saw her win the NXT Women's Champion in what many - including himself - considered the match of the year. And he was there when she finally joined her friends on the main roster.
The only problem? She barely noticed him.
Of course, she knew he was there when she would join commentary, or when he'd interview her backstage or in the ring. She made sure to talk to everybody backstage, and he was no exception.
When her world comes crashing down, though, he's the only one who sees through her happy, smiley facade.

I've never seen Tom Phillips in a story before, and he's pretty cool. (Definitely a much better commentator than Michael Cole, JBL, etc) He interviewed Bayley in the ring after her match tonight, and I figured they looked cute together. :)
Her world crashing down could be her boyfriend breaking up with her, but if not, you can decide.
You've got to come up with a title, though, because I'm lazy and didn't think of one. xD
