This idea belongs to tamatongas and has been published!

He didn't even notice when she walked into the room. She had been advertised for the show, and he had seen her picture on the promotional posters, so he had no reason to do a double take.

But he did, and suddenly, he was breathless.

The picture of her didn't do her justice. Of course, everything about her was beautiful, but her eyes... They were the type you wrote songs about.

He should know. He already had.

She had been wrestling independently for about two years, but she had never crossed paths with Mark Andrews.

It wasn't a big deal; there were all kinds of people she hadn't met, but for some reason, this was different.

What she didn't know was that he had lost someone, someone important to him. Her eyes reminded him of her, and he could get lost in them without ever meaning to.

First, he tries avoiding her, because he doesn't want to seem weird, and she doesn't even know who she reminds him of.

Eventually, after some pushing from his friends, he approaches her. She is nothing like her, they were complete opposites actually, but that was okay.

He hasn't allowed himself to fall for anyone since losing her, but this girl makes him rethink everything.

***

This is based on a song from Rent because ugh I love musicals.

Anyway, I won't let you change the love interest in this because Mark Andrews is in a band, and therefore writes songs. Plus, I love him too much to let you do that.

I've given up on giving OCs names, so name her yourself.

The other girl: I personally think she died, but maybe they just broke up? In Rent, the girl died, so that's why I think that.

And in case it isn't clear: he wrote songs about the other girl's eyes, not the main OC's. But since they have the same eyes, it's kinda like the song is about both of them.

(Also I'm a bit biased toward brown eyes, but you can give her whatever eye color you want)

Anyway, let me know if you want this! :)
