Doubt [Dean Ambrose + Paige]

"Don't forget about me, even if I doubt you. I can't live without you."

Dean Ambrose and Paige were a train wreck waiting to happen.

Paige was considered immature. Her friends saw her as the one who would drink too much and wanted to party all the time. The higher ups (most importantly, Triple H) didn't trust her to do what she was supposed to do in the ring, and refused to give her important storylines.

Dean Ambrose was a loner. After Seth Rollins betrayed The Shield, Dean shrank away from everyone, including his girlfriend, Renee Young. He only spoke to whoever he happened to be in a storyline with, and only for a short amount of time. He and Renee broke up.

People didn't know that Paige partied and drank to fill the void left by her ex-boyfriend, Kevin, and because she never got to see her family, who were on a completely different continent. She needed a distraction.

People didn't know that Dean can no longer trust people. He has anxiety attacks just thinking about what happened with Seth, and is convinced anyone he becomes friends with will do the same thing. He refuses to be betrayed again.

When Dean and Paige enter each other's lives, they realize that they can't live without each other, no matter how much they want to believe they can.

Based on the song Doubt by Twenty One Pilots. (I've been listening to them a lot, lately, so don't be surprised if more ideas based on their songs show up.)

In this story, Seth would be a huge jerk both on and off-screen. That's why Dean is so shaken up about him betraying the Shield.

Also, Dean and Paige try multiple times to live without each other, but they both know that being together is good for them, so they always end up back together.

I don't even ship Ambraige, but I figured they'd be a good pairing for this idea. So, let me know if you'd like to write this! :)
