The Throw Down Between Masters of the Blade

Wilburn's PoV
After the fight between Zora and ex-first mate Brock it would be kind of hard to top, but I do my best. I couldn't wait to fight and with Zora picking the hardest I wanted to be a gentleman and pick the next hardest crew member. "Choose ye opponent ye little demon." I heard the captain say I looked sizing up the two remaining opponents. I look to Zora to see if she'll give me a sign, but she say and does nothing. "Ye have 2 seconds to choose who ye'll be fighting before I choose." I blurt out the first name that come to my head "Nimrod!" The crew chuckles. I grab my katana and I walk down to the area where we'll fight. I look up at Kami and Zora. Kami looks pissed and Zora has an evil grin on her face. Why? Did I do something stupid? Did Kami's bad aditude make her laugh? I guess I will find out soon. I get down to the deck and Nimrod is scanning me. I ask "Are you ready?" He step in and I step back keeping two sword lengths between us. He moves forward and I edge to the back of my ring as I notice I either fight, fall, or get stabed.

He charges in and I barely dodge getting my shirt cut by his blade. The fight has begun. And I see how it will be fast and vicious. I quickly cut the tendons of his left arm so that he can no longer weild his sword. He tugs with his right hand to try and get his sword unstuck but fails. He runs to the mast and tugs on sword hidden inside a burning lantern. He has now a burning sword and I try my best to dodge but get stabbed just barely missed my rib cage.  He pulls it out and I manage to keep my balance. I need to end this quick. I regain my posture and attack. I slide on my knees barely missing his counter. I attack from behind but he blocks. He was sloppy with his right hand. I flipped his sword in the air and knocked him out before catching the still burning blade. I hear Captain Timotheus yell over the quiet crowd "Ye just done earned ye self th' rank master swordsman." I walk up the stairs as I hear the applause from my friends. Kami walks done the stairs with her karmabit. I said "Good luck!" She retorted "I don't need it you gave me the easiest challenger here." We laughed and I stood next to Zora. She looked at my wound then into my eyes. She asked "Are you ok?" I simply said yes and looked at what was going on. Kami attacked and got a clean shot on the guy with the dagger. I suddenly felt a sharp pain near my wound. I looked and saw her treating it. "Ow! Zora what are you doing?" I ask as she fingers my wound. "Checking to see how deep it is." She said simply. I let her do what she needs to do. When she finished she looked up at me and kissed me on the cheek and wispered in my ear "Don't ever scare me like that again." She grabs my hand and holds it tight. I look back and I see a cut on Kami's cheek, and as she gets up and her eyes unfocuse. She grabs her karmabit and viciously attacks Demitius. When she is done he was on the deck with cuts down his back. He was taken to the ships doctor inspected. Kami walks up and pulls Zora away to go down to there living quarters.
