Great Paige look what you done

I stayed frozen, looking at wesley with a blank face. "No I didn't say that, I said maybe." I could barley speak but the words flew out of my mouth.

It's getting really awkward now, where's the waiter with my damn food.

"But Paige.." Wesley said to me trying to break the awkward silence.

"I don't want to hear any of that bullshit Wes . We're friends out on a friend date.. See we're buddy's" I said emphasizing the word 'buddy's'.

I looked over to see the waitress coming with our food, it felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders once I seen her coming towards us.

She smiled placing down our food.

"Enjoy guys" she told us walking off to seat more guests.

I started to eat about 10 minutes later me and wesley both finished. We never spoke a word to each other.

I sat there sitting in discomfort sipping on my drink.

*flashback*

"Happy birthday babe" wesley came up kissing my check, I placed my hand on the side of his face feeling sparks fly around me from the kiss.

He took a seat next to me as I sat around all of my close family and friends. "This is for you" wes said handing me a necklace what had 'Wesley' printed on it. I lifted up my hair as wesley placed the necklace around my neck sending a shiver down my spine.

"Just so everyone knows your my girl" he told me "my special girl, I love you" he said as I pulled my arms around him holding his close to me

"I love you too babe" I kissed his lips and my friends and families awed, I got to admit even I awed myself.

*flashback over*

"Paige why do you keep spacing out on me?" Wes asked as his hand was waving across my face.

"What ever happened with the necklace you gave me for my birthday?" I asked him.

He frowned down at the floor, then looking back up at me.

"I ditched you on the day of prom, you were with justin and you threw it away, I don't really know what happen.. Why are you asking me this?" He asked with his eyebrows bunched up.

"I just thought about that day that's all." I said picking up my purse and heading to the front counter.

"Hi, I'd like to pay for my bill now." I told the lady at the front desk.

"Yep, cash or debit sweetie?" She asked smiling at me.

This is some friendly restaurant

"Debit" I told her as I searched my purse looking for my debit card.

"I'll pay for the bill here's 30$ kept the tip" wesley said handing the girl the money

"I was going to pay for that!" I yelled at him.

I shook my head as I walked out of the restaurant and onto the sidewalk heading towards my collage.

"Paige why are you suddenly upset with me?" He asked as he jogged up to me.

I decided to ignore him and keep walking.

"Paige talk to me" wesley stopped me from taking another step forward.

"Do you really want to know Wes?" I told him sternly.

"Of course!" He told me putting his hand up in the air.
